What with this being a Zelda Fansite the E3 thread is probably going to be taken over by Nintendo news soon. To prevent that, this thread will be your one shop stop for all Nintendo E3 news (though hey maybe zelda news can go in the zelda forum) Here is some basic Info: The confrence is on Tuesday at 9am PDT and 12pm EST The new Nintendo console WILL be shown off and will be playble in some form. The 3DS will be getting a HUGE push! We will learn whats going on for Zeldas 25th birthday. Anouma has said Pikmin 3 WILL NOT be shown because Hisak and EA wouldnt shut up about it and he hates them, So feel free to speculate and to GET. HYPE. Have fun guys and lets hope for an awesome show!

Two E3 threads? Well I guess that works. Really excited for this conference, I'll be upset if Pikmin 3 isn't shown. > : (

pumped as anything, its like christmas. Ever since i accidentally stayed up last year and saw skyward sword announced i've wanted to do it deliberatly this year...
Im loving the info thats coming out now, Skyrim looks absoloutly fantastic, i was skeptical about it because Oblivion was, whilst good, not all it could have been, but now i'm right into it. Halo 4 is an interesting announcement. Gears 3 looks like more of the same, but thats cool, i kinda liked it more for the story and style then any wild innovations it had.
Can't wait to hear about Skyward Sword and the 25th Zelda anniversary, its been too long.
Cafe i hope will have some sweet games, that look lovely (i want to see that next level) and play lovely. fingers crossed for Mario. Also for Pikmin 3.
Maybe even a Cafe Zelda, but a looooong loooong shot, and if its not a release title for the Cafe then it will probably be announced next year because i can't immagine them not having anything up their sleeve despite Skyward Sword still being developed...

I'm really looking forward to blowouts on Super Mario 3DS and Skyward Sword, it'll be cool to know what they'll actually look like. This isn't the first time that Reggie's done a video like that, I'm pretty sure he did one for GDC this year. IGN is being dumb and hinting at things again: Hey hey IGN boardies, Lucas here checking in from the IGN War Room at E3. It's time to get hyped, Nintendo fans. I think you're going to be very pleased with what you're going to see very soon! I could give you guys a clue, but you'd have to chase me down. You guys have some great guesses. I think that clue is all I can offer right now, but I'll be back with another nugget sometime before the Nintendo's briefing kicks off tomorrow morning. What could it be? Any guesses what the first Café game announced will be?

I'm here already! Been jittery all day. And then work tried to get me to work longer! They managed to get an extra two hours out of me, but they got a hearty "Hell no" to anything past 4pm. Just to be on the safe side.
Really, really hoping Cafe doesn't have a touchscreen controller now.

i'm here too, just finished of my last exam for the semester thisarvo... waiting impatiently...soooo drowsy...
EA i think its a given that it does...i kinda agree with you though, i don't really see any great benefit to having a touch screen controler.
The Ign live blog just started uploading stuff...

I have a feeling that this is going to be an incredible presser. Last year's was great too, but it wuickly became apparent that a lack of software was going to hurt them. Hopefully we get lots of release date info on previously announced titles (here's looking at you, Paper Mario 3DS). And who can forget project Cafe? I'm really antsy to see what direction they choose, because chances are that Sony and Microsoft will follow suit. As Nintendo goes, so does the next generation of gaming. As for SS, I'm just hoping that any in-game demos aren't as horrific as last year's. What a buzzkill that was.

I'm hoping we're going to get to see how they have shaken up the traditional structure a bit more although thats probably better demonstrated in the demo, perhaps they will do some talking...

They're having two roundtables this year, maybe they'll talk about it at one of them!

Oh... do you reckon we're going to see the 25th thing showcased now?? or will it be a roundtable thing...i guess it depends what it is... i have a crazy and probably unreasonable hope that it is yet another new Zelda game...i doubt it somehow...

I know that the culprit last year was probably a misplaced sensor bar or something like that, as opposed to bad coding. Hoping to see some new locales and mechanics. I'm hoping that this is the Zelda title that goes the ALttP route and introduces a host of innovative, memorable weapons/treasures. Recycling the same old items has been my biggest complaint for the past 5 years or so.

Oh it will. But it will also have buttons. 25th Anniversary will probably be announced here. They're playing an Arcade Fire song right now. :o

Maybe the hookshot won't even be in it! i would actually welcome that. and i agree with what your saying, i want to see some new environments too, i can only take so many forests, deserts and death mountains...

Interesting discussion about the price point on G4. Everyone thought Vita would be massively expensive, but Sony surprised everyone. Then again, they're well-known for producing hardware at a substantial loss. Nintendo doesn't operate in the same manner.
I'm guessing $349.99. Fingers crossed
