Coming this fall. I'm getting a Wii U.

Open up the images separately to get a better look.

Lots of bloom effects.

Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with this. In one sense, I think TWW is probably the Zelda game that least needed a visual upgrade, as its cel-shaded look is fairly timeless. But I also know that made it the easiest to update and thus show off the Wii U's HD capabilities in order to get fans to buy a Wii U (see hisak above) in preparation for the new Zelda U coming later.

I'm hopeful for at least one new dungeon (perhaps a proper dungeon for that third pearl?). I think the Triforce quest will remain, albeit substantially tweaked. What I'm really hoping they do is make the Gamepad the new Tingle Tuner. That would rock! And while we're on that subject, the Gamepad would make a great device to use as the Pictograph Box, and for the goddesses' sake I hope we can store more than 3 pictures this time around.

This COULD be the game that gets me on the Wii U bandwagon, but it needs more than just shinier graphics. It was way too obvious that cuts were made to the original game, and if they can put those bits back in or at least flesh them out better (Triforce Trawl) I'll definitely be into this. If they could make collecting the figurines easier, that might be something I'd finally complete as well.

They'd be mad not to make the Gamepad the Tuner.

Big question is: Will they finally trial full voice acting?

Aonuma *did* mention making improvements to the actual gameplay, but his examples were just your typical "Now With Full Functionality of the Wii U GamePad!" fluff. Besides, I have a sneaky feeling that if content that was cut from the game was put back in, it would look an awful lot like certain areas from Twilight Princess.

Certainly the Picto Box improvements could be made.

Big question is: Will they finally trial full voice acting?

This would actually be the perfect time for that, but judging from that fall release date I'll say no.

Yay, things to be excited about! \o/

Like Rew said, TWW's looks are pretty timeless, but that doesn't mean what they're doing to it won't look REALLY good.  Since the Great Sea is so... great, I imagine flying around with my little seagul and being able to see all these islands on the horizon...

I'm not looking forward to hauling up ALL the treasure again, and the figurine sidequest.  I will seriously cry if it's still just three pictures at a time (plus the having to play the Song of Passing twice.  It should at LEAST be improved to exiting and reentering the Gallery (okay that wouldn't save that much time either, but still).

More importantly, this means they could be planning a Wii U + TWW bundle, which will be the perfect opportunity for me, and many others to buy the console.  Hopefully it will be a little more than just the standard Wii U with the game together with it.  A different color, controller, bonus disc or gift,...  PLEASE NINTENDO, ANYTHING so I can justify buying the Wii U then.  I'll feel bummed if they don't do anything at all, and I could have been playing awesome games months earlier.

(Although if TWW U will be the first game I play on it, the HD is going to be even more impressive. :3)

If they release a green Wii U for this sucker, I don't care what I have to do, I will get it.
