As a lot of you are aware i'm on the hunt for OoT 3D glitches, and i found something very interesting while i was searching around. At Zora's domain there are a few gaps around the little island next to the "unicorn fountain" entrance. I was using the little red dot on my longshot to test if it was passable or not. The results turned out to be shocking! Yes the largest gap allows the little red dot on the longshot pass far through. Is there any way someone can find a little jump through it?

What's the "unicorn fountain" entrance? What is this island you speak of? ^^
Also, it's obvious that TP's frozen-for-no-apparent-reason Zora's Domain, with you being able to "sense" and save all the Zora's underneath the ice was fan service to ease our OoT regrets (of not being able to save the Zora's, well you see them dancing in the ending but it's just not the same).

This is all for my own satisfactory because "Unicorn Fountain" (which is supposed to be located in that little pointless doorway underneath the water of zora's domain) was apparently a part of the old game cut out. My theory was that if it wasn't important enough to include in the new game the doorway would be gone... but guess what.... IT'S STILL THERE!!... and its laughing in my face because you cant simply dive to it as a child.... and the ice is there as an adult. So i need help!!
Edit: And the "island" is the only spot of land in zora's domain if you walk to the left of it (facing the waterfall) and look down under the ice there is the legendary "Unicorn Fountain" entrance...

I do remember a glitch to get down there as a kid with no cheating devices, but if it's been fixed please let me know.
Anyway, what many of you might recall is if you play the rupee diving game for the silver scale, if you get on land and then right as the counter runs out jump into the water, you will sink to the bottom of that body of water because a speech box pops up telling you the game is over. If you do this right over the area where the hole is at the bottom, you can actually swim into it if you go in the right direction quickly enough. I've done it a few times before in OOT, but I don't know if this glitch still works in 3DS.
There is also another glitch that is more complicated that gets you under the ice as an adult. But I won't go into it.

I'm aware of the swordless link glitch in the other OoT (note i refused to call it old), however they removed the play any item as an ocarina glitch, therefore removing anything to do with warping away from big ol' scary gannon without a sword. Rendering the glitch you didnt go into explanation about useless. I haven't tried the other thing you mentioned though thanks for the advice.

Oh yeah, that island with the zora on it where you can play the Song of Storms to get into a Fairy's Fountain I guess most glitches also still work on the GC Collector's Edition (or TWW Bonus Disc)? How do you become permanently swordless? I don't remember the Ocarina glitch, but I do remember the "make anything into Bottles" glitch ^^

The ocarina glitch uses the make anything into bottles glitch, you just do the get a fish, drop it, and catch it again, backflip, and while in air hit the button with the bottle, and then the sword. you should play your sword. and then you use that to warp out of the final gannon battle.

Wait, what's the point of warping away from Ganon again? Isn't that usually prohibited? Or can you do it Because you don't have a sword to finish him off with?

In the other OoT (not 3D), to get under the ice, you have to be swordless first. In order to be swordless you need gannon to knock the sword out of your hand and leave without a sword.

Oh right, duh. So then you use the Ocarina glitch (to the sword button even though you don't have one anymore)

Lol oh yeah that was dumb of me wasn't it?... No, you have to use the same method on your megaton hammer or hookshot.. you can play those also... haha sorry that was my stupid mistake.. but that is only on the 64 game because you cant seem to do the backflip trick.

I actually wasn't talking about the Swordless Link Glitch in either case in my post. This glitch that I listed before doesn't require Link to be swordless:
"Anyway, what many of you might recall is if you play the rupee diving game for the silver scale, if you get on land and then right as the counter runs out jump into the water, you will sink to the bottom of that body of water because a speech box pops up telling you the game is over. If you do this right over the area where the hole is at the bottom, you can actually swim into it if you go in the right direction quickly enough. I've done it a few times before in OOT, but I don't know if this glitch still works in 3DS."
And the other glitch as an adult is complicated to explain, but it doesn't require swordless either. I have, however, only been able to do it on the N64 version. I'll try and explain it as best as I can here, but it's quite hard for me to put into words. I might record a video of me doing it sometime though.
The other way has to do with going up to the Water Temple entrance and walking with the Iron Boots on to JUST BEFORE the very point where it takes you into the temple. You'll see a visible line in the flooring that once you cross, you go in. If you go to just before that and without going forward anymore, take off your Iron Boots, you'll rise up into the mountain in the center of Lake Hylia (apparently there is water in some areas the game won't let you reach normally). This is because there is a small gap between where the gate opens up and where the entrance point is. You have to then swim to the side a little bit, not enough to where you go outside the mountain and back into the normal part of the water, but just a little bit, and then put your Iron Boots on and sink to way below the normal boundaries of the bottom of Lake Hylia. You have to be careful not to sink too far or you will go completely out of bounds and you'll be warped to where you started off. Once you're way below the "bottom", swim towards the warp to Zora's Domain. Keep sinking downward as needed to keep yourself below the normal bounds of the lake bed, and when you reach the point where you're below the inside of that warp hole, rise up and you'll go into Zora's Domain under the ice, at which point you should put your Iron Boots back on in order to keep yourself from rising up above the ice. You can reach the hole this way too. It is difficult after a point because the camera won't follow you very well as you swim towards the warp at Lake Hylia and by the time you're anywhere near the right spot, the camera is so far zoomed out that it takes an element of luck to rise up into the part of the warp behind the icy wall that normally blocks you from getting into Zora's Domain as an adult. I've done it like this before, and if you want more maneuverability under the ice as opposed to the other way I listed of doing it (where you can only swim and the camera angles aren't ideal), you can do it this way. But it's a lot harder than the other way.

Thank you!! i knew you weren't talking about the swordless link in the first glitch. Iv'e seen it done with swordless link though. The child link speech bubble thing worked and i found that it is actually different than the 64 OoT. No unicorn fountian though . But that won't stop me from thinking there is one!! I'm going tho try to get under as an adult.

I actually just found a video of someone doing what I talked about on youtube. This seems to be the N64 version, so there isn't anything down in that hole. But I'm not sure if the 3DS is the same way or not.

Cool video!!
It also seems the torches and chest (with heart piece) are gone from behind the waterfall - logically it would still be there but they probably decided to cut it out since there would be a frozen waterfall in front of it anyway. Good to see the lake hylia shortcut still works though. As is the case with many stuff in these games, for programmers it's often easier to just leave stuff in, than cut it out. Cf the stuff back in the woods in TP that was cut out.
So the little inside corner below the island in Zora's Domain is where this "unicorn fountain" was supposed to be?

I think it was. The description found at the following link (pardon the pun, hahaha ) seems to indicate that the little alcove below the waterfall was originally intended to be the entrance to the Unicorn Fountain. http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Unicorn_Fountain

That looks and sounds a lot more like something that would be in the Temple of Light than something that would be connected to Zora's Domain. The other hole in Zora's Domain was probably meant for something completely separate.

It looks a little too much like a normal Fairy's Fountain. That sword beam upgrade might have been it. The Triforce, I don't know. Wasn't the Triforce emblem somewhere deep down a bunch of nothingness (under the Castle Courtyard or whatever, I remember seeing an old glitch about that).

There is one to see the beams of light coming out of the triforce in the Royal Family Cutscene they are just over the wall behind zelda.. And yes ive seen the glitch where you do a wall jump or something to start swimming just below the middle of the Castle Courtyard and look down. i guess its there. I really havent tried it myself... And I don't believe that Unicorn Fountain held the triforce but whatever it used to hold has really been bugging the crap out of me!! And the adult link glitch to get under the ice on OoT 3D doesn't work because they slanted the wall up so you couldn't!! Therefore, leading on more suspicion that they are hiding something under the ice in Zora's Domain.
