I picked it up, it was the first game I owned for N64 and one of my favorites(easily the best in the series as far as I'm concerned).  It's pretty much the same as Ocarina 3D in terms of visual overhaul quality(though I think the 3D is a little better implemented in Star Fox).  Once again, there's nothing new here and the lack of online is pretty upsetting.

My biggest complaint, however, is the voice acting alterations.  Why mess with the classic dialogue of the original?  It's not like the voice acting needed improvement.  Also, they altered Falco's "Hey Einstein" quip to "Hey Genius", which reminds me of a comment in Nintendo Power where a writer asked about how they'd know about Einstein when they're from another galaxy.

"It's because the writer's of the game are from this galaxy, Einstein!"

Voices didn't bother me at all. TBH, there's really nothing for me to complain about in it. The multiplayer levels are different, but I strongly doubt anyone will miss the old ones. (I sure as hell didn't: I love these, especially Corneria)

I think they did an excellent job updating this game, and they even redid the music for it as well. I haven't gotten to Expert mode yet and doubt they included the following, but the only thing that would make this better? getting a remix of the SNES Corneria music when you play that stage in Expert mode. (Sorta like what they did with Contra 4 when you play it on hard mode)
