I hated that part, people are so stupid sometimes. And they wouldn't stop saying that Twilight Princess is gay for the GC and the Wii is the real version *GC is the real version! Duh!*, so what, people could like the GC version, or the Wii version, or they could like both of the versions!

I read about this stuff in stupid n00by forums, who gets most of there information wrong... never joined it, because it sucked so much that they barely have any members; and I hated it anyways.

**Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to get it off my back. ^_^;**

Permission granted.  Justly ranted.

If you think nOObs can be annoying, NEVER EVER venture into the forumesque realms of teh nOObs.  Suicide, really.

I don't know if anyone still cares about this, but two suggestions...

1- FSA was not made by Capcom, and everytime I hear this suggestion, I die a little inside.

http://www.thehylia.com/forums/index.php/topic,1626.msg39823.html#msg39823

2- There is no evidence to prove that the Shiekah were evil. Stick to what we know and stop trying to destroy the reputation of a noble race. There is no definitive proof they had links to the Twili. The most obvious explanation for the Twili origins lies in FSA, with the Zuna. Again, the suggestion that Sheikah = Evil, kills more of my soul.

If these two are added, I will resign my quest for acknowledgement of the fourth Triforce piece to the realms of fan fiction. Thank you.

Request 3: Manga is not canon, it is just fan fiction with a publisher.

Forest Temple... Yes, TEMPLE.

Goron Mines... Self-Explanatory.

The City In The Sky... Read Goron Mines...

I Hate It WHen People Refer Everything As "Temple" As Well.

Isn't there already a ban for that?

Water Temple => Lakebed Temple

Snowpeak Temple => Snowpeak Ruins

Sky Temple => City in the Sky

Come on people. Nintendo actually did their best to avoid extensive use of the word "Temple". So please, stick to the actual names.

I don't understand what difference it makes. As long as you get your point across it's just excess communication.  Perhaps I only think this because I am an n00b myself.

Being a fanboy is more than a hobby, it's a way of life.  That implies using the right terms for the right things.

Otherwise you are indeed a n00b, and heavily frowned upon by the majority of un-n00bs ^^

To which I reply:

xlinkx, if you want to avoid looking foolish it is wise to follow the rules of Gannon-Banned. Some of the things which are raised there are blindingly obvious.

... Although I still fancy a debate or two regarding point 8 from time to time.

Perhaps. But it still seems pointless to me.  Never the less I will follow the "rules".

Okay, it's really bugging me. Just so you all know, the term Oni Link was born in an MM manga in which majora threw the Kame no Kishin (FD's mask) at Link's feet and sped into the moon. When Link donned the mask and leaped up into the maw of the moon, the little kid's wearing all the boss masks said "Hey look! It's the Oni! Come play with us Oni!" after that, the Kishin inexplicably killed them for know real apparent reason. But, I'm getting off topic.

Just so you all know, that's where the term came from. After that, it spread across horrifying fanfiction communities and became a topic of gannon-ban stuff.

Here's a link to the manga which this appears in for those of you who are interested: http:// www. zelda-infinite .com /files/ manga /majora

Remove the spaces of course

Who else find this hillarious?

Quote from the site:

1. Spelling Ganon "Gannon".

I really don't get some of you fans out there. There was only one time in the history of English-speaking Zeldadom where Ganon was spelled wrong in an official product, and it was in the screen featured below. So how the hell are all these 12-year old morons who never played the original game continuing to spell Ganon incorrectly? I've heard some pretty damn interesting theories, from the fact there are real people named Gannon to it sounds like "Cannon" (nevermind there is also a word name Canon and a popular company known as Canon, too). The real reason is that morons who have only played the original NES Legend of Zelda continue to spell it wrong on purpose, continuing to be ignorant little jerks. Their misinformation screws with new fans, and teaches them to spell Ganon wrong. This shit ends now! STOP SPELLING IT WRONG, ASSHOLES.

Notice how the link to the site is spelled haha.

Yeah, that's the point of the site. It's making fun of the misspelling.
