I'm glad they gave The Hulk (who is probably the least popular of them all) a lot of love, and in my opinion he completely stole the show. What's your opinion on the guy playing Bruce Banner in the movie? I hear he's good, but I really liked Edward Norton's portrayal. In general the reviews the movie is getting makes it pretty impressive. It was a pretty ambitious project kick-started by Iron Man and I'm glad to hear they brought it all together smoothly. I hope Marvel studios makes more super hero movies. I personally preferred Edward Nortons portrayal better, but Mark Raffulo(spl?) did a really good job. I would say though for the direction they went with The Hulk character in this movie, Edward Nortons portrayal may not have worked. I would say in terms of prototypical super hero movie, this is by far the best one ever made hands down. But as far as movie with a super hero in it, The Dark Knight is still king.

It was a shame continuity wise that Norton didn't play as Bruce Banner. But Mark Ruffalo did an amazing and even better job than Norton did.

I really enjoyed it. It was a ton of fun, action packed, humorous, and everything just looked great. I'm glad they gave The Hulk (who is probably the least popular of them all) a lot of love, and in my opinion he completely stole the show. My favorite has always been Captain America, and I was glad they still kept him in the semi-leader role for this movie and gave him plenty of spotlight even though he is probably right next to The Hulk in terms of popularity.
I am completely satisfied with the movie and think that it worked extremely well. The dialogue was great and the characters meshed extremely well together. I'm already looking forward to The Avengers 2 (which after seeing how much money this one has made I can guarantee will happen), which is still 3 years away at least.
My only real "complaint" is that I felt like Hawkeye was somewhat underused, but Im expecting a SHIELD movie at some point to flesh him out more. And Maria Hill was kind of shoe-horned in, but had to be in to set up for future installments. Downey and Ruffalo were fantastic, especially together, but I have to say Tom Hiddelson (Loki) was probably the best of the bunch. He took my favorite villian (and best acted characters) from the previous films and took him to another level. Loki = badass. Plus, his exchange with Downey is a major highlight of the movie in my opinion. Oh, and best end credits scenes (yes you read that right, Scenes) ever. Seriously, Marvel continues to outdo themselves.

yesterday, had argument with rich (literal milionaire) friends because their priveleged as fuck attitudes were annoying me, russian girl I don't know turns to me and says "yeah socialisms awesome, capitalisms fucked up russia, stalin may have been shit but the rest of the history of the USSR wasn't bad when we weren't in a super paranoid deal with the US, I only left because of putin".
I would have proposed to her on the spot if she wasn't on a date.

As hyped as I was to see The Avengers, I was surprised to find that the movie actually exceeded my expectations! It was that good. Here's how I'd rank the Marvel movies so far: 1. The Avengers 2. Iron Man 3. Thor 4. Iron Man 2 5. Captain America 6. The Incredible Hulk I really enjoyed it.

Seriously, Marvel continues to outdo themselves. I agree with everything here. I loved Loki in the Thor movie, and he was even better in The Avengers. Each character/actor had such great interaction on-screen. Personally, I didn't care much for Norton's Bruce Banner, but I thought Ruffalo was absolutely perfect for the part. He even has that Hulk-like look when he's in his normal doctor form. @Zim: I'm glad you (sort of) met the girl of your dreams that day.

I'll go along with the Ruffalo love. I was disappointed to learn Norton wouldn't be returning, but Ruffalo ended up being better for the part. Anyway Norton was too busy being in my most anticipated movie of the summer:

He was politely removed from the cast of The Avengers.

I'm glad they gave The Hulk a lot of love, and in my opinion he completely stole the show. I wouldn't say he completely stole the show. He definitely stole a few scenes, but Iron Man was still the most charismatic by far. What's your opinion on the guy playing Bruce Banner in the movie? I hear he's good, but I really liked Edward Norton's portrayal. He's better. Much better. Norton was great, but Mark Ruffalo really excels in the role. Plus, his exchange with Downey is a major highlight of the movie in my opinion. Agreed. I'd go as far as to say Tom Hiddelston's Loki may be the best comic movie villain to date. He's certainly my favorite, at least.

Honda's men are no longer Street Fighters. They see this as a Mortal Kombat, and they have the Killer Instinct. If you do not help your friends, this may be their Final Fight. . . Clayfighter.

Well I just wanted to take the time to say goodbye, again. It's not that I'm leaving the forum but tomorrow I am going to Louisville, Kentucky to stay the night. The next day I leave to go to basic combat training.
But first I am going to see the Avenger's again today.

Hung out with friends last night night playing Diablo 2. We've been working at beating the whole Uber Tristram thing for years, and finally got our characters and gear set up. So we did it, had a blast, and successfully finished at 3:01AM EST. Just in time for Diablo 3 to open up.
So then we stayed up all night playing that (minus the hour or so burned while waiting for the servers to stop exploding). And now I'm in the lab after about 30 minutes of sleep, I feel terrible, and I still don't regret it.
Guys, I think I'm really bad at being an adult.
Also: Avengers was super fun. I'm highly anticipating going to see it again at some point.

I never really got into Diablo 2 big online, just kind of played through the single player game which each class and called it. I am doing another run right now with a paladin before I start D3. I just reached the 4th act so I'm sure it will only take a couple more days to beat it. I'm hoping to do some big D3 grinding this weekend and plan on playing it almost exclusively online.

I would see a Candy Land movie and buy the video game and all of the merchandise.
Please don't quote me on that.
Anyway I'm less than twelve hours away from the end of organic chemistry. Please send help.

I'm done with my school year, so I now have ridiculous amounts of free time that I don't know what to do with. Meaning it's time for this place to get active again. Let's do it.
