Is it good? I downloaded it but haven't listened to it yet.
Also, from a conversation a while ago, The King's Speech was amazing, and I don't know if I said this here yet but I didn't like Black Swan too much.

http://cloop.wordpress.com Hey you little runts down in the Trendy Game Shop, posting constantly without really saying anything: I played your game once. I know what that's like. I was once your leader. You know the reason posts don't count in the Trendy Game? You're looking at him. Respect your elders.

Yes, yes, yes. Also, missing class from being extremely sick sucks after getting maybe an hour of sleep the night before...

Yep, but it took me quite a few listens before I really fell in love with it. I really wanted to see The King's Speech, but the theater here only has three screens so I didn't get the chance. I really liked Black Swan, but I'd rather see The Social Network or even Winter's Bone win. 2010 was a much stronger year from movies overall though - I can think of at least four movies in the past year that I enjoyed more than The Hurt Locker (and I thought THL deserved its win).

I loved The Hurt Locker.
I think that was just my kind of movie though. Like, it was something that I was interested in and that made it a better movie for me than most other people I know.
I'm curious what movies hisak is thinking of.

I really enjoyed it, yeah.
Also, Jennifer Lawrence and John Hawkes deserve to win for their categories.

I thought this movie was surprisingly good. I thought it was just going to be an anti Mark zuckerburg movie but I was pleasantly proven wrong

I thought the same, but for The Hurt Locker, I was expecting just a standard actiony film. Both assumptions were way off, haha.

It's not a spoiler if it actually happened.
I'd feel more comfortable having an opinion on the matter after reading the book, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Feel free to start any type of discussion here. If it turns into something that goes on for awhile and would be better suited in the LOT it can be moved easily.

The book "The Accidental Billionaires" which The Social Network was based off was excellent. I read it after the movie and actually liked it alot more than I planned. The same author wrote the book which the movie "21" was based off of also.
did Zuckerberg steal the Winklevoss' idea? Who knows, who cares. It sure as hell wasnt worth however much money he ended up having to pay them for "intellectual property theft" At least I believe thats how its explained. Regardless, he did screw Saverin over, that much has been documented by courts and eyewitness accounts. Zuckerberg is brilliant, but has very few friends I'd imagine. Must be lonely after selling out your best friend for Sean Parker but thats another topic altogether.

I don't need this movie. But it's not the main Pixar studio, so it could be worse.

Yeah, that does not appeal to me at all.... This, on the other hand, I'm quite excited for.
