Just secured free IMAX tickets for the Avengers opening night in Dallas. I for one absolutely cannot wait. It really is a dream come true for me, and who better to direct it than Joss Wheadon. From what Im hearing it truly is the definitive superhero movie.

I've been keeping an eye on Cabin in the Woods for years (its producer is mildly popular within Internet culture) and now that it's finally out, I find myself living in a town with a movie theater that isn't showing it.

I say we start the battle royale now before the forum dies of starvation. Uchi will be fine with it.

Sounds good to me, but I still don't believe this forum will ever die. It will never be as busy and popular as it once was. But as long as I have free roam on the internet while at work, I will still stop by occasionally to check it out while bored and killing time.

Yeah, this place wont die. It's too damn old to die, it'll just keep going on forever and ever. Sort of like the Simpsons.

Sort of like the Simpsons. True for both cases. And actually I still find recent Simpsons episodes to be enjoyable. Recycling themes is unavoidable, but it's amazing how it's still not as stale as some would expect. Guest stars like Richard Dean Anderson always help, too =D

So it's been five months since Skyward Sword was released. I think it's time for EA to throw together another Definitives thread so we can get a better sense of what everybody thinks of it. Who else'd be up for it?

Also my opinion on Skyward Sword is not good. I don't like it, I group it together with the DS Zeldas, which I consider to be weak games.

So the day I ship to basic combat training is the day Diablo 3 decides to come out. Yeah thanks Blizzard, I'm not even going to be able to play Heart of the Swarm for a long time.

Seconded. I'm starting to throw together an E3 thread to go up in a week or so. Anyone excited yet?

Seconded. Thanks guys, but my job will really just consist of me sitting around a base and running maintenance checks on a certain type of helicopter. But E3, I'm excited to see what is coming out.

I was wondering why no one mentioned anything about The Avengers yet, then I found out it's not even out in the freaking States! I saw it two weeks ago...I feel awesome now.

It's silly right? Usually such epic movies are out first in the Stages, especially with most American's obsession with comic books & graphic novels and such. My friends saw it last week already, I'll probably go soon too (I want to see Captain America first, I kind didn't get around to that).

Yeah, apparently, The rest of the world has a bigger gross profit than the States.

Probably because ticket prices are ridiculous and no one wants to pay that much. I was surprised to learn that Battleship doesn't come out til later this month here

Avengers was probably delayed so it'd release during the summer movie season. There's not much reason to release a massive blockbuster in America in mid-April.
