Hmmmm, well that depends. Is it a person, place, or thing?
That asked, I can only speculate. Assuming it's an enemy, then it has to be a Stalfos which as far as I can remember, is the only enemy to appear in every single Zelda game so far.

It can only be a fairy, either a regular fairy or the Great Fairy or Fairy Queen. By the way, the Great Fairy in TP sports a "Thank you!" Alanis Morisette look. lol
Update: I just realized, I may be wrong, Great Fairies do appear in LttP. But I'll leave that as my answer still.
