So here's the idea: It'll be like the Roasts, but it won't suck. Lifetime achievement award kind of thing. We will come together as a community and have a feel good moment with a particular member. Insults are allowed, but keep in mind the idea is to reminisce on the member and their most interesting points. Keep thinking "lifetime achievement award."
Also, I promise not to insult anyone who has never told me that no one at the forum likes me.
New members, don't worry. You can have a go at this too. Give us your first impressions, the folklore you've heard, whatever. Oldbies will most likely have more mem'ries, but that doesn't mean better.
This thread is to vote on who you think should be the focus of the first Member of the Moment, and to discuss the idea at first.
For as long as possible, I would like to keep this to people who are still relatively actives. So no GM2 for a while.
The First Five Choices:
NewHyrule
KeatonKitsune
Nero/Loki
RawrSaysI/The Tao of Bill
GamePunk
These are the five members with the highest post counts, not counting myself or GM2. I figured GM2 wouldn't be here, and it wouldn't look good to have me as the first guy. The decision does not necessarily have to be tied to post count, but I think many people will agree these are five very prominant members on the forum.
So make your choice and comment about the idea, and when there is one clear winner I'll make a new topic and the game will begin.

All are very good choices, but I'm gonna give the nod to my good friendly nemesis NewHyrule because he went from the near abyss of being perma banned to a pillar of the community! Although Loki did one up him by actually coming back from a perma ban illegally and still being allowed to post. That being said, NH still got the modship and has it for a long time now so my vote goes to NH!

Keeping in mind that insults are allowed, I was going to toss a vote NH's way. But then I realized that that's already been done to death, so I think I'll have to support MoS/TML/Nero/Loki instead.
