I AM BACK PEOPLE!!!! Like it or not I have returned after a few weeks and the break was really worth it. I will now be posting topics that MIGHT interest most of you here. But first I wanna talk about The Tao of Bill.
Wow I feel so special. I actually affected someone's life so much that they felt the need to create an entire topic about me lol. That's cool!

Nah I wouldn't ban you for something like this. I'll even keep the topic open for a bit. As long as things stay calm. I'd like to take this time right now to say that I am open to peoples critique of me. Generally it's best to PM me about things like this but we can discuss this openly if you would like. But the second things get hostile warnings will be handed out. Kapeesh?

to date because of the lack of side quests, confusing storyline and things (eg the Temple of Time) that don't have a direct link to the other games.
My only beef was lack of sidequests. I don't care about timeline issues. That's not my thing.
I understand that this annoys some people (like how Ganon cant remember Link or how Midna's hoggin the spotlight) but sooner or later you WILL get over it and you WILL find out why! There's no need to show your anger at Ninty who worked long and hard to finish the game. So you should praise them for the hard work! If not go to an Anti-Twilight Princess Fanclub!
I disagree. bitching is what makes the world go 'round. Advancement in technology almost always comes from someone saying man this sucks there has to be a better way. It's the same with video games. You gotta point out what's wrong with games and you have to make a big deal when one of your favorite series is turning into a mediocre one. Nintendo can't be caught sleeping on this one. It's important they know what we hated so that they can correct it in future Zeldas. Zelda needs to evolve or it won't be able to compete. It's that simple.
Next up, the GameCube! ToB ranted about it's Nintendo at its worst because it doesnt support the internet much or at all and it has "not so brilliant" games! NOT SO BRILLIANT!!! Hello? Have you forgotten about Resident Evil 4 and LoZ:TWW? Not to mention Metal Gear Solid!! I'm really ashamed of you you know! If we didnt have the GC we wouldnt have Zelda: TWW and TP, Mario Sunshine, Sonic Adventures and Resident Evil 0, 1 and 4! Really! Get your act together!! >

My arguement wasn't that good games weren't there. It was that there weren't enough good games. I was a gamecube owner. I experienced the long gameless droughts of both the Nintendo gamecube and the Nintendo 64. I've been a Nintendo owner since the 64 came out and frankly after 10 years of having complete lack of 3rd party support I had given up on Nintendo. I still don't trust the wii very much which is why I got a 360. And I am glad I did because there isn't a game I think I would like playing until well into this year. Nintendo is arrogant when it comes to 3rd parties. They force developers to develop how they want and only how they want. They push big developers away by restricting creativity. This has long been true and it hasn't even seemed to stop even with all the interest 3rd parties have been taking to the Wii. Nintendo just sucks at bringing in a decent amount of good games and while there are some good games they are few and far between when compared to a system like the PS2. The PS2 has thousands of titles and in no way does sony attempt to restrict what kinda game their developers can make. Which is why there is a serious lack of inovative 3rd party titles for the gamecube and an abundance of inovative 3rd parties on the ps2. Sure 1st partys are great on nintendo but you get sick of playing as the same characters after awhile.
And finally the friend codes!! He bitched about how the friend codes are an unnecessary restriction from unknown people while the other companies have something easier! Well we wouldnt want a murderer in contacting us using Wii messaging so he can send threatening email and pictures of his victims to us! That's probably why we need friend codes these days! I know this has been up your ass for a while but just give it a rest! If you want a reason why send a email to Nintendo and they might tell you why friend codes exist in the first place!
The whole "it's safer" thing is stupid. friendcodes can be given to "Murderers" just as easily as gamertags. Not to mention the Wii allows for internet access which is far more dangerious than a video game lobby. If nintendo wants to protect kids thats admirable of them. But they are going about it the wrong way. They should have pariental locks that are capable of not only locking out games by ratings but also locking out online play thus effectively protecting children. Friendcodes is not only a lame way to protect children (as it doesn't really work well in that respect) but it alienates adult users who don't need the protection and yet are forced to deal with it. And nintendo has already gotten bad press in the past for alienating adult players.
And finally to finish this forum off a final note. Tao of Bill, please just calm down! When I hear you talking all I can hear is a whiny kid who's 10 years old who won't shut the hell up and chill!! If you want respect you have to be calm and talk bout the subject that annoys you! You're not Foamy you know! If you wont calm down you should be ashamed of yourself for calling yourself a Nintendo fan and you should be shot! I'm asking you NOW to just chill, respect everyone and what they like. Or else you would get a peptic ulcer!
I think you are being a bit hostile to me actually and I think you should be calm. You are getting so upset over a game company and one man's opinion of it. You can't control people's opinion. I kept this topic open because I am open to any critique about me but I really need you to calm down and respect me as a person or you actually will see reprocussions from it. If you want to discuss me fine but you are going to have to be a bit more mature about it.
This goes for everyone. I appretiate the support some of you have given but there is no reason to get hostile here. I am a man of peace. That is the tao of bill.
