I think that project is now dead.
update: Yep last post was 9/2/2008 and the guy hit his crash-point. Figures, that's the number 1 rule of a fangame is expect fangames to ware out. "I am going to make this into 3d with only 3 guys!"
He is not releasing it claming it is too big but he could release it in smaller packs in .zip format or torrents.
It could be worked out some how.
