This is a pretty straightforward game. Simply post a section of lyrics of a song and have people guess what song its from. If they guess correct, they get to post the next selection of lyrics. And so on and so forth. It probably need not be stated but try to avoid using Google unless we've been stuck on a song for days. FOR SIMPLICITIES SAKE: Post lyrics with your answer. If it is wrong, we won't count those lyrics. Some guide ideas for posting lyrics - Avoid highly repetitive, obscure songs. We want to be able to guess them, not spend 5 hours looking over every song lyric posted on the internet for the one version you want.
- Avoid using the chorus of the song or other extremely obvious portions of a song. It simply making it too easy.
- Use interesting portions of the lyrics. The game will be much more fun if you take out a line that is quite unique from anything else you've ever heard, witty, or just speaks to you. Lets not see Rebecca Black lyrics in here.
To start us out... But who needs them now? Displaced, they're easily more safe. The worst of it now, I can't remember your face.

That's Ok Go. But I'm blanking on the name of the song.
It's one of the slower songs off of their first album. "Return," maybe?

Cake song, off of Comfort Eagle...
I'm pretty sure Shadow Stabbing, based off of the word "typewriter" standing out to me. Not the most solid reason, but I'll take it.

The days get and the nights get cold/I like the autumn but this place is getting old I pack up my belongings and I head for the coast/It might not be a lot but I feel like I'm making the most Dunno what amount of fandom this group has here. We will see, I guess.

Luckily, that's the one Modest Mouse album I've ever listened to. And it's "The World at Large."

Probably ramping up the difficulty a bit with this one, but let's see how it goes. Do you believe in something beautiful? Then, get up and be it Fighting for the smallest goal: To get a little self-control I see it in your eyes I see it in your spine

Lyrics: Lansley's white paper: "Liberating the NHS" sets out a plan where we'll become more like the U.S. and care will be farmed out to private companies, who will sell their service to the NHS via the Gps, who will have more to do with service purchase arrangements than anything to do with seeing their patients.

It's clever, but I think you may be giving it a little bit too much credit. Anyways, next up: Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one.

Breathe - Pink Floyd There will come a time I will look in your eye, You will pray to the God that you always denied, The I'll go out back and I'll get my gun, I'll say, "You haven't met me, I am the only son."

Weird, my friend just recommened that song to my today, otherwise I would never get it. Dustbowl Dance by Mumford & Sons "If I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat If I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat" Trying to keep it a bit easier still.

The Who, behind blue eyes
this bridge was written to make you feel smittener with my sad picture of girl getting bitterer can you extract me from my plastic fantasy i didnt think so but im still convinceable will you persist even after i bet you a billion dollars that i'll never love you will you persist even after i kiss you goodbye for the last time will you keep on trying to prove it? i'm dying to lose it... i want it i want you i want a (song name)
(these are the official lyrics, which...ummm for some reason are different to the ones in the song, but not by much)
