"To Play" List

I have a problem......I don't usually finish games completely during the Winter Months.  So I made a checklist of games that I have to beat.  (And some that I want to beat again).  I put them in a certain order, so some of them would feel new and exciting, at least.

I suggest alphabetically.

That's a pretty robust list. I suggest mixing them up a bit, playing different genres after another, do an old one then a new, etc. That way things don't become monotonous. Do you mind if I post my on list? I've been working on it for a couple of weeks, but I never took the time to post it here.

Currently working on:
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
-I beat the main story mode, but I'm still working on the side quests, the Nest of Evil, Sister's Mode, and Richter Mode.
Fire Emblem (GBA, not the original NES game)
-I'm very near unto the end, so this one should be finished soon.

Others:
Half-Life (PC)
Twilight Princess 2nd Playthrough (100%)
Knights of the Old Republic II
Paper Mario: The One-Thousand Year Door

Meanwhile, I have a simple pair of goals for my return home with my beloved Wii.
TP- Hundred per cent, under 40 hours. Easily achievable I'm sure.

Just looking at my list, I need to prioritise.

From now til end of term
Pokemon Emerald (GBA)- Complete the Elites and as much of the 'Dex as is humanly possible
Donkey Kong (GB)- At the very least get past that one damn level that has haunted me for so long...

First week back home
Twilight Princess (Wii)- 100% in 3 days (40 hours or less)
Wind Waker (GC)- Featuring the continuity break, hopefully

Second/Third weeks
Mario vs DK 2 (DS)- Amy wants in on this one too, might be worth showing her how its done.
WarioWare (Wii)- With alcohol...? ;D

Back at Uni
Spectrobes (DS)- Probably be out months before Pokemon
Tingle RPG (DS)- There are rumours of it coming out this month, but I still haven't seen a concrete date...

Waiting til the Summer
Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii)- It's an improvement on the previous Sonics, but Wario and Zelda will come first.
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl (DS)- Probably won't be out til then knowing the UK's luck. Might import beforehand.

There will probably be dozens more games to add over the coming months. But these are the big ones for now. I actually have Donkey Kong waiting for me... (So many bad memories...)

I have no chance of completing anything, but I might as well try to play Super Princess Peach when I'm not drinking cheap vodka...

Then again, it is possible that I'll complete Mario Kart DS.

Well, I dug out the cart, blew out the dust and tackled it head on. After 9 years of it eating away at my soul, I have finally triumphed over Stage 2-7 of Donkey Kong for the GameBoy*. Surely it is plain sailing from here. With four more weeks left of Uni, I am now quietly confident that it will finally fall to me.

*I now await people coming in saying "2-7, that's fucking easy you n00b!"

Time to kick up this thread. I've been quite busy tying up some loose ends lately...

I bought Pokémon Ruby & Emerald on Ebay this week, and now I'm checking on some offers for FireRed and LeafGreen. Oh yes, when the time is right, HS will finally join the third generation of Pokémon games. I have to say I'm very anxious to revisit Kanto, what with all the changes and expansions! And then on to Ruby & Emerald to work my way up to that elusive National Dex...

Here's the complete list of games I own but haven't got around to:

Mario Kart DS (because I still have to buy me a DS Lite )

And now proud to present you a *Complete!* list of the games that I hadn't fully completed before:

Pokémon Stadium: finally beat the R2 versions of the last two balls of the PokéCup and those extremely challenging Petit & Pika Cups (you can read all about my ordeals here), and concluded by beating Mewtwo at R2... Sweet Lord I missed all the PokéMadness.

Super Smash Bros Melee: hunted down those elusive trophies which required you to be speedy at all the minigames and game modes, perform specific actions in battle, and basically just own at every part of the game. Only two are missing: the Captain Olimar trophy from Pikmin (I don't have the game, so...), and the elusive Diskun trophy, which required you to "get" all the "Specials". That, my good sirs, is too insane an undertaking. I'm happy with my 288/290 trophies. It's more than most people can say...

Kirby Superstar/Kirby's Fun Pak: now at 100%. That MetaKnight turned out to be a real pansy... But he had some awfully cool moves. And it appears he is in essence very much like Kirby, a blue blob... Now let's see how he'll do in Brawl

Soul Calibur 2: This one took me a few whole days worth of battling. Extensive story mode, lots and lots of trials and modes, and a plethora of stages, weapons & moves. Worth every penny.
