(I actually think the Xbox One looks kind of nice and sleek, though a bit big--I'll still never buy one, of course.)

Really looking forward to our first look at the new Smash Bros. game(s), as well as Mario Kart. Is New Super Luigi Bros. U going to be an entirely new game or just DLC of NSMBU? I actually am not holding my breath for Zelda U, at least not in terms of gameplay footage or release dates--still too early.

My biggest hope, however? That the 3D Mario game is going to be Super Mario Galaxy U.

I know a lot of people like to claim they're above rumors, but those people are wrong, so.

Somebody on a gross forum (you can probably figure out which) claims to have knowledge of upcoming Nintendo releases. Here's what he has:

- Retro's game is a Star Tropics revival. Trailer at E3.

- Mario Kart U is pretty much just a "souped up" version of 7. This Christmas.

- "Super Mario Retroverse" is a rejected title for Tokyo's Mario game, but it still describes their direction with the game. Out in October.

- Smash Bros. is a Holiday 2014 release. Roster will be slowly revealed between now and then, possibly via Dojo.

- Zelda's a 2015 release, longest and grandest in the series, blah blah.

- X and Yarn Yoshi are 2014, both have trailers at E3.

I don't really believe any of those rumors, they all seem very ginned up.  Aside from hardware details, which are sent to hundreds of third party developers and are easily leaked onto the Internet or to the press, what benefit would somebody have to post a very detailed version of Nintendo's E3 plans?  They'd have to work internally at Nintendo, I doubt they're willing to risk their career just to post this information on NeoGAF or the like.

Besides, when have ANY E3 related Nintendo rumors about software been right, aside from the obvious or just lucky guesses?

Donkey Kong was real! Plus the Wii U Yoshi platformer, which wasn't an E3 reveal but still.

They're just fun and I like them. Plus the Mario thing is actually in line with everything Nintendo has done in the past three years.
