Both or so says IGN. But I beleive so too RTS's are best left on the Computer not a 360.

Kind of odd if you ask me, but I heard that Battle for Middle Earth 2 worked well on 360, so who knows? I've never been a big fan of RTSes (wait... have I ever even played one?), but if this turns out as good as it looks, I'll be picking it up as soon as I can. Halo was originally going to be an RTS, before becoming a third-person-shooter and then an FPS, after all.

I wonder if it's actually supposed to be canon or not. It says in the FAQ it takes place before Halo (meaning during the Fall of Reach book), but then what's with Spartan Group Omega from the trailer? Where did they come from? Unless they're actually Spartans from the books, but I doubt that. Guess we'll just have to see.

By the way, 1up.com is doing a "3 Weeks of Halo 3" special, in which they have new updates on the game every two days. The info that's out there so far is pretty sweet (the man-cannon, the spike grenade, the Mongoose ATV returning, the modified Assault Rifle). The new EGM (December?) is supposed to have a little bit more detail on it as well as new screens. I believe it should be out soon.

That is true, except for their trailer but I don't know it seems kinda iffy to me.

Well, I thought the trailer looked very impressive and promising, even if it was all CGI. To clarify, I meant that if the game is as awesome and epic as the trailer seems to indicate, then I'll get it. Of course, it could bomb horribly... But considering it has the makers of the Age of Empires series behind it and the potential of the Halo universe, I don't think that'll happen.

The Halo Wars trailer was (obviously) CGI. Ensemble has used CGI trailers for all of its RTS games.

I'm curious to see how they make an RTS work well on a console, since it's being built from the ground up there. If anyone can make it work, it would be Ensemble, but we'll see.

I have played halo 2 online and ill tell ya this. Online play was great fun and met some zelda fans that still play zelda. The thing i hated when time passed by was when bungie released this update for some reason it brought hackers in the game.. It was really a good game till the updates they released just killed it.

I have seen the halo 3 game. Another good one coming out soon. All i can say is just wait till it comes out.

I just saw the Halo 3 teaser trailer. No gameplay hmph... But still I can't complain too much I love Halo: CE's campaign but Halo 2's sucked... Halo 2's Multiplayer was awsome though and I liked a lot more than Halo: Ce's.

I love Halo: Custom Edition. I think it's so funny that one of the most popular maps is Hyrule field. I don't a 360...yet but whenever I go over to any of my friends houses' I always kick their butts at Halo 1 & 2. Good times.
