Anyone play the newest instalment in the Battlefield franchise. I rather enjoy the new perspective they've taken with this, as in turn designing what they think the future might be like, included with some benign plot just to induce war. The new weapons are awesome with their variety and the interesting features the come along with some of the new equipment. The new vehicles as well are mostly awesome. I'm especially interested in the new mech as it can take down almost any other unit. Titan mode is probably the only mode I play. In my opinion, this is probably the best instalment of the Battlefield franchise, not because it is the newest one, but because it has the most diversity in its options and game play features. Any other opinions?

I have the demo and participated in the Beta and I gotta say they had some great ideas but the execution was way off for my taste. I'm sticking to BF2 and the expansions for now. Maybe it takes some getting into but i've been playing since the beta and well befor the demo so I'm not investing just yet.

I have it, and it's a lot of fun. I enjoy both conquest and titan, but like conquest more because it's more squad-based.

The only time I played this game was at my friend Austin's house and his computer couldn't completely handle it, so it wasn't that great for me.

I play it, but I'm finding it hard to get into servers where at least one person isn't trying to ruin it for EVERYONE...at least lately.

Me and my brother have only played the other previous BF games with are the 1942 Playable Demo, Vietnam, and Battlefield 2. We haven't played 2142 yet, but maybe later.

No sequel is planned, but there is the Northern Strike Booster Pack, which is $10 American and is ONLY available by download from EA on their EA Link.

yeah, I've got northern strike, the goliath isn't that good, but the speeders are fun as hell
