You prove nothing except that the people at MTV News can copy and paste with aplomb.

And one of us is the cynic, are you sure it's me? You could well be the cynic for suggesting that newspapers would dare publish lies about such an exceptional role model as Keith...

I never said that Richards never said it.

And I still have yet to see any reason for thinking of Richards wanting attention.

Honestly, through what eyes are you seeing this?  The guy lied flat-out.  He said something extremely "provocative" or at least remarkable.  What other purpose could that have served than to have the hype surrounding his persona to be fed?

So, "lying" and "joking" are the same thing, eh?

Sure he can be off his rocker, but I find him great like that.

The only difference between lying and joking is the amount of fuss being made over it.

People laugh at jokes, they usually don't at plain lies.
