So what you are trying to tell me that taking ecstasy cannot cause the symptoms that I just listed there? Seems like you may want to back off. Ecstasy raises your temperature in your body, which in a club setting is dangerous because you are already in a situation where your body temperature will most likely be raised. Overheating you body is fucking dangerous, so maybe you need to go back to school and stop being so cocky.

You disagreed with me claiming ecstasy is safer than smoking, I showed you evidence completely to the contrary and your argument back is "ecstasy can very very rarely (1 in 10000 chance of acute harm occuring, less risky than horse riding which has 1 in 350 chance of harming you) harm you" Maybe you shouldn't act as if you know things you don't have the faintest fucking clue about and actually read the article I just posted? Or are statistics and evidence from actual doctors, which were published in the lancet, the best medical journal in the world less convincing then some drug PSA you watched when you were 15 and some story you read in the papers?

I didn't read the article you just posted because it is blocked at my job. But you telling me I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about even though if you are saying those aren't possible side effects of taking the drug, and telling me I'm an idiot pretty much is arrogant in your part. Pretty much what I'm saying is don't be a prick in your responses, especially since I basically am not incorrect in my statement just maybe not as knowledgeable which I'm OK with admitting. If you said something wrong about servers or databases I wouldn't come at you like you did. Learn some couth and it will take you a lot further in life.

You were totally wrong about ecstasy being more dangerous or as dangerous as smoking, you have no idea what you're talking about, and if the article was blocked at your job then wait until you get home and read it before claiming I was saying there were absolutely no risks to taking ecstasy. On top of that, the harms of ecstasy are overblown and as a scientist I get justifiably angry when people who have no idea what they're talking about, like yourself, spew shit they've probably seen in scary headlines.
Ecstasy as an activity is literally less dangerous than horse riding, and a hell of a lot less dangerous than smoking, so get your facts straight before you argue with someone on this stuff again.
Sick and tired of people on this forum believing they can weigh in on every subject as equals.
On top of that your sarcastic tone in your response to me making my initial point about ecstasy in your first post on the subject, led to my initial response to yourself, you only have yourself to blame, you smugly walked in acting as if you knew better than me on the harms of ecstasy in relation to smoking you were dead wrong, maybe you should grow up a little bit and before deciding to try and argue against something you clearly know little about you should think about what tone you're going to take in response to it in the first place.
If I said the moon was made of cheese, I think you'd have been justified because most people are qualified to say that the moon is in fact made of rock, and I'd expect sarcasm and "yeah really cheesey that big ol rock", but you literally have no qualifications and clearly no knowledge of drugs besides what you hear in PSA's so you being sarcastic and going "yeah real safe", was frankly ridiculous.
If you honestly think I was the first person to be hostile then reread your first post, it was pretty obviously inflammatory and attempt to make me look foolish.
Picked the wrong fucking guy gamepunk.
Next time pick chibi, he knows absolutely nothing about biology.

Next time pick chibi, he knows absolutely nothing about biology. I'd like to point out that you're an asshole, and then further refine that statement by adding that you're actually an enormous asshole. Anyways, you're stupid*, and this conversation is stupid, so here's a stupid picture of me to keep on rolling with that theme. *Although your argument is well backed up by that study. Interesting read.

That argument was stupid. But that picture is sweet... where is that? That's Stowe, Vermont. Boss-ass helmet and goggles chibi. They're not as cool as the skis you can't see in the picture. They're like strapping pure sex to your feet.

Doing well for yourself, GP! The gf, the healthy diet and workout, and apparent wisdom (and ability to stay calm and wise when Zim is acting up again ) Well thank you, I am actually doing very well and have no complaints about life at all. I went through a really rough patch of depression about a year and a half ago after a lot of things went wrong (roommate turned to be a drug dealer causing a lot of stress, taking 18 hours and working 40 hours, out of shape, lack of sleep and unhealthy habits) then my girlfriend of two years broke up with me making things even worse. So I was in a really bad place for quite awhile. Then I just decided that the only one who could make things better was me, so my first change was my diet and fitness. Once I started that my mindset changed, and things started to get better. Got the internship last summer, which turned into the great job that I have now since I worked so hard. Graduated college after having one of the funnest years of my life. Now I sit here with a great job, in the best shape of my life, and I couldn't be happier.

Past two pages making me remember how I need to start working out again. Mike I notice that your workout routine and/or diet seem to have generated a tattoo on your shoulder. Is that a common side-effect? Seriously though, glad to hear you're doing well for yourself dude.
That is a nice fish, Jord. The shirt and hat are awesome, but the chain looks uncomfortable.
I wish you'd take things easier around here, Zim, you get yourself worked up too much.

As for the new tattoo on my shoulder it is a memorial tattoo that I got last summer for my brother who I love two years ago to a brain aneurysm. Definitely the worst event I have ever had to go through. But I love the tattoo as it is a nice reminder of him every morning I see it in the mirror.
