Here is a Link cosplayer I found at Scarborough Fair yesterday. She apparently made her whole costume.

The sword and shield looked pretty accurate (modeled after some version of Toon Link), though the material was kinda poor quality. But that can’t be helped, especially if it’s going to be carried around by such a petite person all day.

What I was most impressed by was the quality of the tunic and the chain mail underneath, obviously modeled after TP Link. Both tunic and mail looked quite convincingly real. The gauntlets also looked great, though a bit plushy…

(Sorry for the horrible image quality… All I had on me was my iPhone. Shoulda brought my Canon…)

Very nice!

It's probably a bad thing that girls are better Link cosplayers than guys.  See also: pikminlink

Fraternity softball game?

Haha yep I am a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, best decision I ever made. This is actually right before the Tri-Delta philanthropy home run derby. I actually even won it this year hitting 16 homeruns, it was softball homeruns.

GP when did you turn into an old man?

Haha shhh, I may be older but still young at heart. In fact in the best shape of my life, lost 20 pounds and then put on 20 in muscle...

Before

This was around thanksgiving, I look even more cut now just haven't taken any new pictures waiting to finish the current program I am on.

Your arms are massive compared to the rest of your physique, man. Haha.

What back routine do you do?

I do a couple different routines I try to switch it up. My standard that I do...

1) Pull-Ups/Weighted Pull Ups: 2 Warm up sets, 3 to failure
2) Seated Rows: 2 warm up sets, 3 to failure
3) Bent over dumbbell rows: 3 sets to failure
4) Straight arm lat pull downs: 3 sets to failure
5) Lower back hyper extensions: 1 warm up set, 2 to failure

I will occasionally switch it up with deadlifts, or do some different back machine work.

Heres a photo of me after I dropped about 20 lbs, I was about 176 here...

I started at 195, dropped to 176, the thanksgiving picks I was 196. I am now 190 as I have lost some weight as I haven't lifted in 3 weeks due to having to have my appendix removed. I restart my routine on Monday, then in September I start a hardcore 12 week program. I have to weight til September before I can do any ab work.

You might be overtraining your back, but I do usually take the minimalist approach as far as exercises and repitions go. You really only need one vertical pull and one horizontal pull, and when you do deadlifts that adds the isometric lat contraction. I usually do weighted chin-ups for my vertical pull and either T-bar rows, bent over rows, or Pendlay rows for my horizontal.

While Zim is wrong in that this is not lame, if you wanna continue this conversation, I'd prefer we take it to either PM or start a general exercise thread. Whichever you prefer, haha.

Well I went on a fishing trip about a month ago, a trip to Wawa Canada, between Sault St. Marie and Thunderbay along Lake Superior.  Lot of fun, though it was a family trip.

Didn't catch anything though XD  A week before hand I went out with some of the family group that went and ended up catching my first Pike on my second cast of the day!  I really had no idea what to do with it, it's a good thing I had a lot of veterans with me.

Also, representing, that's an Abe Lincoln as Link shirt(LINK-IN, get it?)  and my Triforce Hat!

Here I am having too good a time at a club, this was back in uh...early april I think?

And a slight more pensive picture of me.

Good looking fish you caught there Jordan, I have always wanted to plan a trip north to go pike fishing. Fishing is one of my favorite hobbies.

Smokes are for dopes.

Ecstasy on the other hand sounds quite fun, and actually a lot safer really.

Oh yeah a lot safer if you don't mind risking your heart failing, and your body overheating. Which could cause death of permanent brain damage...
