GTA Twin Towers

I'm sure a lot of you GTA fans have already seen the trailer for GTA 4. And so you probably know it is set in Liberty City which is a parody version of New York. They showed off several landmarks like the empire state building and statue of liberty. We don't know the time setting though so my question to you is if GTA4 was set in a pre 9/11 world would you want to see the twin towers in the game? Would it be too sensitive of a topic for a too sensitive of a game? Or would it make for a good tribute?

Imo it would probably NOT make for a good tribute. Putting it in there would be a statement, yes, but not the kind GTA - or any game, really - should be making.

Imo it would be rather a bad choice, too, as GTA is all about crime and "terrorism" on a smaller scale. So unless you would have the ability to destroy the twin towers in the game - which I feel would be utterly politically incorrect - they had better just keep it as it is now.

Not a GTA fan but I have played it.
Knowing the games and its rep they would probably leave them in if its pre-9/11.
It would be a good tribute too, but only if you don't blow them up in game.  That would be messed up.

The games gonna be under enough fire...let's not make it worse.

The game is already under fire.  The mayor of New York is b-and-g'ing because of the monuments in the game.  He says its wrong to have a video game were you hurt or kill cops for fun.  Yet we have movies that have that in it?  Putting the Twin Towers in the video game would just make it worse.

Personally..After the whole "Gta 3's got porn" thing. I'm guessing this is going to be a huge thing where people blow it out of proportion. The game itself has always been pushing buttons, yes...But as long as they don't make me take any immense terroristic actions during the game, I'm still going to play it.
