More Metroid...? Oi vey... There can be too much of a good thing. I wouldn't say there isn't any interest, but there's a little something called overkill. Favourite game- fine. Favourite boss- Ok. Favourite weapon- Overkill. *sighs* Just so it's done- Missile Launcher, Morph Ball and Bomb are my choices. I'm a traditionalist really. |

No ones being "anti-Metroid" here, (I'm sure there are people here who don't like it, but thats a different conversation), its just the source material here.
It's the Hylia forums. Sure, this place covers alot of Nintendo as a whole now, but the roots all point back to Zelda (face it, its true).
One or two threads are reasonable, but...then...that's it.
There's a difference between being a fan and having an obsession.
Guess which one you seem to be leaning towards.
Other than that, I chose super missle and Ice beam.

Ah, you really should have included the weapons from Echos. Anyways Phazon Bam and Ice beam get mine. The reason I make them is because nobody else will. It's terrible! Why do people look down on

when i played super smash bros on the 64 for the first time, i didn't even know what metroid was. but i saw that there was this awesome space chick with a giant canon mounted on her arm and i wanted to play the game she was originally from. i got metroid prime for the gamecube and ive been hooked ever since.

Well, I don't believe in manuals very often.  But there's no excuse for that confusion now with ol' Zero Suit Samus floating many a horny nerd's boat, but it does still happen occasionally. At least we have this in our arsenal of "You're wrong, Samus is a lady" comebacks. |
