My computer library consists of Age of Empires/Mythology. I really want a sweet desktop when I go to college. All I have is a laptop that is my family's sole source of a computer.

Get Worms because... More said Seriously though, it is one of the most fun games you can get on PC (and other consoles) and the earlier versions for PC (read- my personal fave Armageddon) have miniscule tech specs which even the most ragged of family computer could handle. And the games are dirt cheap now. With weapons like the Concrete Donkey and Holy Hand Grenade in the arsenal, its worth smashing open Mr Piggles and rounding up his shiny, shiny insides.

God yes. Worms, even its first incarnations, was an instant classic. And its latest installments only gave us more, more and... MORE. Sweet lord. Btw we should relocate our Worms Love to the appropriate thread ^^

I manily play the Might and Magic series. NOT the heros. The old ones because they are the best. I was dissapointed about Dark Messaiah because it turned into a one person adventure and I love the party element. I play tons of Sims as well

I just remembered a great manmade PC game which is pretty young and still going strong: Armadillo Run. Anyone of you know about it? Played it? I can tell you it's terribly addictive. The goal is to make sure a ball ends up inside the confines of a blue circle. You have to build bridges, create launching devices, catching mechanisms and all sorts of things in order to pull this off. It might sound rather dull, but you just have to see for yourself. Here's the official site where you can download a demo. There's also TONS of user links to ingenious solutions of all the levels, and of course YouTube is a BIG source for this as well. Armadillo Run ftw!

I don't know if it really counts for this thread, but I've got a real thing for those online locked room games. Like this one: http://www.jigsaw.x0.com/sphere_e/index.htmlThere is currently no guide for it online as far as I know, so why not give it a try while you can still play through spoiler free? It's all part of the fun. Also try this one: http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/crimson/crimson_e.phpMuch darker affair. I approve. I think these could work really well on the DS or Wii, but not quite sure how they could make them into full games... (Note to self: Try Crimson Room via Opera Browser when back home)

World of Warcraft, Doom 3, Half Life 2 right now, and I'll pull out the older game from time to time as well.

Sweet! I loved MOHAA! It was my first bought PC game (worthy of being called a fully-fledged game, that is ) I've played it through various times, even on Hard. It had a great feel to it. In retrospect perhaps not the greatest graphics, but who cares... It was terribly addicting, not to mention very long... Did you get the expansions, Spearhead & Breakthrough as well? They were obviously not as long but they were very worthy of being expansions of MOHAA... Same feel, same fun. PS: You're the first girl I know to be into FPS's.

hahah well 2 or 3 years back, I guess, Joe (Witless) put me behind the pc and made me play it online.. and I liked it that much that I start playing it on my own.. I never played the single player story line, only online multi player.. I had my own clan with server and all, I was really into the game, I played it every day :D but a year back I was so busy with school that I hadn't had the time to play it.. but I don't have a boyfriend anymore so I have a lot of time to play it now hahah :D Yay I'm the first? Really? That odd.. anyways, before I start playing mohaa I always played Unreal Tournament.. :D Well that was FUN :D haha I kicked ass at that game.. PS: no I didnt played the expansions.. I had them in my cd-rack but never played it

Just played some Rise of Nations and Civilization. Don't know exactly why, I was just in the mood for some good old world conquest.
