It's planned to be released next year and it's coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 unlike the previous third game which came out only on PS2.  There's a teaser trailer now out but doesn't show gameplay footage, only character artwork.

Wii?  For some of you who didn't already know, the Wii is getting a Soulcalibur game but it will be different.

Me and my bro are still trying to decide which console to go for next, PS3 or Xbox 360.  It will be a long time until we make our final decision on which one to buy and being able to afford one.

As always, Wii's getting the "different game" but in this case the different game actually is more up my alley, I prefer action games to fighters.  Anyway, I dunno why they refuse to put SC on Nintendo systems since SK 2, they should just try to get Link again and everyone will buy it.

Since my older cousin has a PS3, I think I may get the chance to play IV.  I'm not sure if I may enjoy Legends, I think I'll wait to hear more news on it.

Wtf?  I didn't even know there was SC III already...  Lousy PS...

... I concur with Jord.  If they put Link in again, many people will buy it.  I wouldn't have considered buying SC II if it didn't have Link, and the game really drew me in because of that.  Although I must say that without Link the game would still definitely rock.  It's just... good business.

At least there's a 360 version.

And SC II was better than III. With or without Link.

In my opinion, I liked III more than II because it had no console exclusive characters.  They were all out of place, they didn't belong in the game.  Like some of you here, Link was the reason why I bought SC II, but when I started playing the game, I've realized that there are greater things in the game other than Link.  Link and all the other console exclusive characters were just used to make each version of SC II sell well.  I've also realized that Link gave me the wrong motivation to play the games of the SC series.

Link was the only thing the game had going for it.  :-p

Not true...

But you did say you weren't much of a fighting game fanatic. In retrospect, Link wasn't so great for versus mode.

'Cheah, right! I owned my friends who owned the game with Link every bloody time. (The fact that their copies were on the PS2 and I had the Cube version has nothing to do with it.)
