Im in the shadow temple and im wondering if theres any way at all to make the stupid hover boots hover farther, any tricks?

Not sure I've ever heard of that one. The only one I know is rolling, but that is given to you by the game itself. So I don't know about the L thing.

There is another way to make yourself go alot farther in the air with out rolling. It involves Nayru's love, bombs, and a shield. To do it without the boots http://youtube.com/watch?v=vr-5vTLdAwo |

Huh, why hadn't I thought of that? That is a good trick. You should definately try that one Squad Leader.

For a good slide all you need to do is:
1 - equip the hover boots.
2 - cast Nayru's love.
3 - place a bomb in front of you.
4 - pull out your sword.
5 - Hold L/R.
6 - Hold your shield up.
7 - press A to put away you sword.
8 - sit there and let the bomb explode.
9 - Slide!!!
When going off a ledge, after a few seonds back flip to take yourself even farther.

You can also do it without nayru's love but it's a lot more difficult.

Yah, I was messing around with it yesteday, and it is possible to do it without Nayru's Love. It just adds some difficulty to the trick...and quick thinking.
But hey expirementing is have the fun of using the tricks!
Have you tried any of our tips Squad Leader?

Havent had much of a chance, my mom has been all like "oooo its too nice outside! go out and play or something or other..."
shes even adding a "time limit", im like "whatever just stay up late and play online games on my computer"

There's a crap load of videos and glitches that can help you without gameshark on Youtube, like the Nayrus Love Shield/Bomb technique.

Heck yes! And indeed, the Nayru's Love + Bomb + backwalking topped off by a backflip is THE ultimate trick --- used to get from the pillar in front of the Desert Colossus to get all the way on top of the structure, which is actually quite far, distance-wise! I'm sure, if you are interested, there are a great many vids waiting for you on YouTube. You may also want to check out The OoT Uber Challenge to satisfy your curiosity. It features a plethora of glitches, and has all the links to the different vids on YouTube in there.  |
