I know alot of people that play the game, and they say it themselves that they play it because everybody else does too.

That's hardly a point.  I know a lot of people that don't play WoW, that doesn't mean nobody plays it.

In GW you get an instance, where 4 to 16 (i think) persons can join at the same time. In Wow, you can be as many as you wish right? You don't get a own instance for each map?

No, it's dependent on the instance.  Usually it's 5 people, any more than that and it becomes a raid, and even then, not every instance is raidable.

Can you prove that [that every single WoW subscriber enjoys PvP as much as PvE] don't?

Yes, because I like PvE more, but I still play on a PvP server because that's where my friends play.

So there's a single person that doesn't like PvP as much as PvE.

n the topic of Starcraft, that is ripped off Warhammer too (40k)

Let's not get into the "ripped off" discussion, because when you start to unravel that tapestry, you end up with "It's all ripped off of War of the Worlds".

And a quick note why people choose WoW. It's because every else does so. And people does what everybody else does.
And because it's fun? Right?
I know alot of people that play the game, and they say it themselves that they play it because everybody else does too. I played guild wars a while, but I quitted. Not because it wasn't fun, but I didn't know anybody that was playing. If I had started with WoW, I probably would have played it more becuase I know people that play.
Even still, not everyone who plays plays because they know someone. That'd be a weird paradox thingie. Personally, I started the game and then found out that other people play as I mentioned that I was trying it out. And after trying several other MMOs as well, I went back to WoW because it was far superior in most respects. Every MMO has their strong points, but WoW just has more than other individual ones have.

I hope the Bioware MMO isn't KOTOR, though- I'm not really a fan of Star Wars since the prequel films (the 3rd one is good). Oh, and the Expanded Universe is really silly sometimes =/
I doubt it. They already have a Star Wars MMO and it's not likely they'd release two.

Actually, it's most likly that they will do so. Reason 1: They are cooperating with LucasArt.
While that doesn't prove my point, it doesn't prove yours, either. LucasArts has made far more games than just Star Wars, and it's always possible that they'll do something new. Yeah, it adds more points to your idea than mine, but still. It doesn't prove yours.

Reason 2: The previous Star Wars MMO is not only loosing ground, but miserably failing to reach any ground, which would not make the two competitioners.
Still doesn't mean they'll give up on it just yet. And like I said, I'm doubting it, not saying you're wrong or anything. Personally, I'd be intrigued if they made a new Star Wars MMO and I heard it was good, because that's a franchise that really lends itself to the genre.

But I didn't say that. The monthly fee is the most attractive feature of Guild Wars from a marketing perspective.

But that's the point, casual gamers (I'm using this as a very broad, generic term) wouldn't research it no matter how easy it is to find.

I'm not the one making the ridiculous claim. And I didn't say I could prove it, either.

I'm using addicted in very broad terms. Addicted as in people don't want to leave the game due to the time they have invested in it; not like the Starcraft addiction you get in Korea. On the topic of Starcraft, that is ripped off Warhammer too (40k)...

Maybe, but that doesn't make it revolutionary.

Then why not do something constructive?

That really doesn't make a lot of sense.

I didn't say it wasn't fun; I said that it isn't better than Guild Wars.

I'm turned off it by the lack of Noldor ;-;

A flopped Star Wars MMO.
OW. Major headache there.

I'm not responding to that post until you take the extra two seconds to actually respond to the points to where I don't have to keep scrolling up and down to figure out what you're talking about. That's just lazy.

And Jordan, I'm just not sure I'm talking to you anymore. You're crazy.

Honda's men are no longer Street Fighters. They see this as a Mortal Kombat, and they have the Killer Instinct. If you do not help your friends, this may be their Final Fight. . . Clayfighter.

It isn't laziness at all. It takes quite a while to get those damn formatting tags in the right place- and that gives me a headache.

Fair enough- although last time I read it WotW was set in Britain, not space...
