If you could change the ending of any one Zelda game...

i would change TP so that all the cliff hangars were cleaned up. I liked Ganondorf being in the end of TP. its much different than Aghanim's possession because Zant practically chose to be G'Dorf's pawn. I also wish that Zelda had a more important role in it.

Zelda wakes up from what could be an eternal sleep and all she says is "Thank you Link, you are the hero of Hyrule" *smoooch*

I think that the one thing I'd change with a lot of the titles is that it shouldn't end with Link always leaving! I don't see why he can't stay in Hyrule or wherever he is, to be honest. The endings are always pointlessly dramatic, in my opinion. A number of things in the endings really needn't have happened for example:

Midna shouldn't have destroyed the Twilight Mirror in the end of TP. Zant was one bad egg. He was really bad, yeah (until he took off his helmet - LOSER!), but still I don't think that the link between the worlds should have been totally destroyed.

Also, I don't see why the King of Hyrule had to drown. He could have united the islands under his rule and seeing as the Deku Tree was trying to 'regrow' Hyrule, for want of a better word, he could have helped create it again. The way that Link just left the Great Sea straight away was a bit odd too. You'd think he would have spent a bit more time with his family and friends. And they didn't even seem sad after everything that had happened.

OoT... perhaps Link should have stayed in the Adult Timeline, or at least have had a bit more time there. Then again, if he had stayed, there would be no MM, TP or WW, and that wouldn't be a good thing.

LA... Koholint Island shouldn't have been a dream. All of those people... it seems almost cruel that none of it was real. It was a bit of an anticlimax as well.

Mostly, I think that Zelda ends well, but I think that, as with all things, things could have been done bvetter, but that's just me.

I thought all of the endings were rather good. Sure, they weren't perfect and they all could use improvement.

If I had to pick one, it would be TP. I think that it needed to be explained more. I did like the scene in the middle with Zelda, Link, and Midna though. But I think it could have been improved more. If it has a sequel (I'm sure it will) then I hope they explain the ending of TP a bit more.

As for the other ones, I can only think of WW. As stated before, the only thing I would have liked is an ending like the other 3-d games that shows you scenes throughout the credits.

I usually don't like happy endings, like LttP, with people coming back from the dead. Thats one reason why I like LAs ending the most, since nearly everyone on the island dies, except Link, Marin, and the Wind Fish.

I would end the game at the point where you defeat Zant in the Twilight realm. Then say bye bye to Midna.. And start a new sequel TOTALLY DEDICATED TO LINK,ZELDA AND GANONDORF!!!!!!!!
