For me it I'd love to have seen almost all of those, but of those that would have filled "the void" the most it'd probably be discussion of older games that went dark, it just makes the system feel more alive--however, new IPs for core gamers would have been good too, perhaps talk of a new RPG from Monolith, or as was rumored an old Nintendo franchise back from the dead.

Of all of those, I think the least they could have given us is an extended Brawl trailer--I'm sure we'll get one, and probably within the next few months(TGS, )plus with daily updates of the Brawl site we get enough information as is.

I think bigger third party support is on the way for Wii, and Nintendo didn't really feel inclined to pull a Sony and list every game coming out this year for their systems.

As for the DS, whatever, I'm not too enchanted by the thing lately.

New information on older games. Especially Disaster and Project H.A.M.M.E.R. Part of me still wants to believe that H.A.M.M.E.R is alive and well, and it would've been great to know that Nintendo were out to get the most from Monolith.

Second would've been some new IPs for the core gamers, although from the way Nintendo are working these days, everyone is a core gamer.  Third would've been some proper third party support.

The DS has got plenty coming as far as I'm concerned. PH, Tingle, Phoenix Wright 3, etc, etc. A Brawl trailer wouldn't have done a lot for me, and with Wii Fit, no other game could've seemed more "casual" had they tried to reveal one.

Had to go with Brawl Trailer. But I think Nintendo, along with Sony and Microsoft, are holding all their stuff for the E for All Expo.

What I miss are game trailers. Nintendo doesn't seem to do those anymore in favor of fifteen second clips and montages. I remember watching the Zelda trailer in 2004 over and over again and I miss that.

I just got hit with a reminder... Where the heck were some alternative Wii colours? Guess Illuminated might be right about the E for All thing, and this is one of those things that will be better hyped nearer to the holidays...

Oh, yeah...I remember doing that too. but hardly anybody showed any real trailers this year. i think all the companies expected to suck this year because of the now much hyped E for All (which might end up sucking anyway, we'll have to wait and see).

As for Wii colors...we'll probably see black, and...other than black. Remember, we were promised like...8 different colored Gamecubes or something like that...and we got 3.

I hope we get an azure Wii. Or just blue. But azure is best.

I doubt that Nintendo is holding information for a new and untested game show. I'm expecting them to release more information at the Tokyo Game Show though. They did unveil the Wii remote there after all...

yeah, I'm leaning towrds seeing the good stuff from the TGS as well. Not expecting a new Zelda though. Its gonna be awhile before we see anything about that.

Guessing we'll hear info on new colors though. And some other new suprises.

I didn't feel there was a void. It was just apparent that Nintendo's primary focus was the non-gamer.

I voted 'A big third party exclusive/More Big Third Party Games'.

I think we're getting plenty of Brawl updates - daily ones, at that, but I would really have liked to see more third party stuff.  Big stuff.  Like... like...  God I don't know.

I was thrilled to hear about the new Tales of Symphonia, though...

That, and a new Golden Sun would REALLY make me one happy camper.
