Obviously OoT 3DS, but I've been playing a LOT of Mario Kart also, recently, the GC version (Double Dash) is still loads of fun. It's harder than the Wii version I would say, and extra fun cause of the 2 characters you get to pick. The battle modes are superior too. Shine Thief & Bob-Omb Blast are SO addictive.
MK Wii online is lame. The battle mode is just the balloon game. 1vs 1 gets old, and if you play with a friend at home you have to do the team battle thing which is also lame. And with 1 friend over Wi-Fi there's no CPU's so the races feel really lonely, that's just not what MK is about. But still, the MK games never get old, and I'm really looking forward to MK 3DS, September 1st is only 2 months away akshully! ^^
It had better have a Missions mode again... And fun battle modes.

StreetPass Mii Quest... Yeah it's basic (and frustrating) but also rewarding if you get lucky with the heroes (' colors & therefore magic powers).

Strong bump incoming.
Bought and beat Batman: Arkham City. Definitely worthy of every bit of praise it's gotten. My only gripe is that there still is no incentive to turn off your Bat vision. Still, a transcendent experience nonetheless. I'd give it a solid 9.5 and put it in the driver's seat for Game of the Year.
The truth is that I haven't gamed that much this year, due to how scarce AAA titles have been. That all changes over the next few months though.
Oct 18- Arkham City Oct 25th- Battlefield 3 Nov 1- Uncharted 3 Nov 1- Sonic Generations Nov 8- Modern Warfare 3 Nov 11th- SKYRIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nov 13th- Super Mario 3D Land Nov 15th- Rayman Origins Nov 15th Assassin's Creed: Revelations Nov 20th- Skyward Sword Dec 4th- Mario Kart 7
I'm only going to be able to afford 4 of those, so I'll have to pick and choose. the rest I'll probably get for gifts during the holiday season. Either way, I'm going to make sure I get my grubby hands on all those titles and make up for what has been a pretty pitiful year in gaming.

Playing WoW at the moment and looking through the old bin of games I haven't beaten or want to revisit. Sonic Generations, Super Mario Land 3D, Skyward Sword and Mario Kart are the four games I want. come holiday, even if I had the extra money, I wouldn't buy any of the others. The only one that kind of perks my interest is Rayman Origins.

It was about time they went back to Rayman's origins. He's been far too preoccupied with them raving rabbids.

*posts his thoughts in the relevant thread and not just the Count*
Hmmm... The Five Monkey Trial (Volcano's temple stage) was easy peasy. Still got three other temple stages to beat before I can take on the biggy and wrap up my DKCR playthrough. (Got a few puzzles to complete but, meh.)

I'm going to hold off on Mario because it comes out 2 days after Skyrim. There's no way I'm going to take any attention away from Skyrim after only 2 days.

On hiatus for Lent. After Easter, I have the following lineup:
- Donkey Kong - Donkey Kong Jr. - Mario Bros. - Super Mario Bros. - Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (God help me) - Super Mario Bros. 2 - Super Mario Land - Super Mario Bros. 3 - Super Mario World - Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins - Super Mario 64 - Super Mario Sunshine - New Super Mario Bros. - Super Mario Galaxy - New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Super Mario 3D Land
I may throw in Super Princess Peach in there too (between SMS and NSMB), we'll see.

Lego Harry Potter- Years 5-7. Disappointed to see Lego Slughorn is missing the walrus moustache JK gave him in the books but Jim Broadbent decided didn't suit him.

@ Rew: neato! All great games. It might not be practical to time everything, but I'm curious as to how many days and hours this marathon would take. Not enough people to set up a decent bet, I guess. Most post-SM64 games could take 2 days (not sure how many hours you would be putting in per day). I'd say at least 2 weeks of not doing much else in that day

@hisak: As soon as they port that game to the 3DS, I'm all over it. Ditto VB Wario Land. @EA: I can't be arsed to buy or play it, but I'm just interested enough I may watch a LP of it on YouTube, to compare it with the books and films. @HS: I'm not sure how long it'll take either. I suspect it'll be longer than two weeks, though! I'll be playing SMB both quests--that won't take long, but I will be playing SMB:LL a whopping eight times to unlock Worlds A-D. I also plan to play SMB2 four times (one with each character all the way through). And I've never played the 3D ones all the way through, so no telling how long it will take since I will of course insist on 100% completion on all of them.

SMB2 is probably the least enjoyable Mario platformer.
Wait, if you beat the Lost Levels 8 times in a row you unlock even more extra stages? I never knew! What exactly triggers this unlocking? I have TLL on the SNES 'Super Mario All-Stars'.
Good luck with 100% completion on all, whew! The console games (from SM64 onward) keep track of your number of coins, and Galaxy keeps track of times too (and Luigi finishing in SMG2). And death count. I don't think you'll want to try to get the perfect file on SM3DLand, that would be no dying, no retries, etc. I like the stats on the SSB games, but other games make you a little too aware of how intrinsically imperfect we all are XD
