What pisses me off is all of the people commenting on the video where he apologizes saying that it was fake because he seemed to have trouble speaking.

The guy just upset pretty much the entire demographic of blacks on stage/camera, and now he's apologizing on national television. Celebrity or not, if you act out of anger and say hateful things (especially when you don't even mean it) then get every retard PC jerk in the country on your *** about how you're racist for it, it's going to be hard to show your face, let alone speak publicly. Especially when the audience is laughing as if it's some kind of joke.

I stand firmly by the belief that Michael Richards isn't by any means a racist. You can definitely argue (very well, actually) that he made racist comments (mostly cause he did), but that doesn't make him actually racist. If he had refused to do episodes of Sienfeld with blacks, he'd be racist. If he refused to associate with blacks or worse yet verbally (or physically) assaulted blacks on multiple occasions (if not doing it often), then he'd be a racist. But this one-time thing in no way qualifies him as racist, and I think that everyone trying to label him as such is a complete idiot that needs to be shot.

Oh, and if he's going to get **** for being racist for this one time, then DL Hugley needs to be assassinated because he's far worse. But since he's black saying it about whites, everyone just laughs it off and finds it funny.

Try having a white comedian have an entire career of black people stereotype jokes. DL's gonna be at the head of the line with torches and pitch forks to murder the guy.

I think it is stupid to dislike the character of a tv series just because of what the actor did MUCH later.

If I like the character of a movie, I like that. I don't let "who is the actor" have any affect on me unless I truly don't think the actor played the part right or fit the character.

O dont get me wrong, I can still laugh about him when I see him in Seinfeld.
But I didt think he would say such things when on stage...

Since when did anyone have a right to be offended or angry?
????

You really only take things at the very upper level, don't you?

Black people don't have the right to be pissed off about the slavery thing and demand anything from me, okay?  That clear enough?  Nobody has been a slave for a very, very long time in the United States of America and no one can claim to have been one who is demanding the special treatment.  Slavery ended in 1834.  Last I checked it is 2006.

I completely agree with that, it really pisses me off when people of my race go around saying something of the like:
We have to get them back! They enslaved us!!!

Either they are over a hundred years old and somehow found the key to immortality or need a check on reality. Same goes for those who lived in the 60s and before who remember segregation.

A common idea among black people (particularly older ones in their late 30s and beyond) is that white people are the enemy or something all of all of them are inheritly racist or something. *rolls eyes* It's silly, just plain silly. Unfortunately parents and grandparents put these ideas into their children as well, many do resist though I know I have managed to successfuly escape my mothers racists views.

But unfortunately many haven't and are convinced any wrongdoing on their part has something to do with a white person if a white person has done anything wrong to them, it was out of racism instead of the person just being a bad guy. Hip-hop and networks like BET do nothing to try to get people to look at each other equally as well. Its funny, it as if some black people WANT racism to still exist.

Normally such histories would fade, sure I expect SOME resentment to remain especially as long as those who lived in such times are still alive... but I do expect in a hundred years from now any "resentment" about past ancestors, etc to disappear. But certain music cultures and networks wish to keep racism, sure they'll deny it but they really do. They just don't want to forget and want to keep harboring anger.

While at the same time, they'll quote Dr. King at each and everytime. Makes you wonder if they really were paying attention to what he said.
