Twilight Princess Spoilers

We are defintely aware that there is a lot of excitement in the air over the release and pending release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.  Along with that comes the people who wish to talk about their experiences with the game, and those who wish to hear nothing of the game whatsoever before they play it.

Because of this we must strike a happy medium for all our users.  For this reason we have decided to form a "Twilight Princess Spoilers" forum for free discussion of core gameplay and story mechanics.  Users should be of the understanding that the entrance to this forum means that he or she is solely liable for anything he or she reads which could and probably will spoil the story.

However this also brings us to another facet of spoilers: images.  Some users have been using twilight princess images in their avatar and signature and such using images from extremely spoiler-filled parts of the game.

I want all of us to realize that this game may be out on the wii, but it is not for gamecube so the majority of people have not played the game.  So for the time being we have levied a temporary embargo on everything relating to Twilight Princess so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the game just the same.

We will follow standard protocol during this embargo, which will last until a month after the release, as per  normal.  That means that until January 12th at Noon EST users are forbidden from openly discussing core elements of Twilight Princess outside of the spoilers forum *and/or* using twilight princess images in their signatures or avatars unless approved by TSA or myself or F3.

This is to keep the peace in the forums for all, and we hope you understand and help us make the best of the community that we can.

that said, if you feel your image is usable, just shoot me or one of the other admins a link and we'll let you know.  I'm not saying *no* images from the game, i just want to avoid images that will give away core elements.  I'm aware that most of the time this wont be the case.

Thanks for taking this measure. I'm one of those European gamers who still have to wait 2 weeks so I really don't want what will most probably become my favorite game ever to be spoiled. Anyway I am using a Twilight Princess avatar+signature combo and I want you to tell me if I can keep using them or not, no worries if the answer is no.

So, please tell me.

Same here. I still haven't played TP yet because I'm still trying to get a Wii. I want to play the game with some expectation.

Since the forums keep a 'latest post in thread' beside each split forum, could people try not to put core plot elements in their title?

The last thing I need is browsing the main forum page and see "Latest Post by: -Example- in 'Thoughts on Why Link Dies'.

That would really ruin it.
