Also, has that really been proven?  I'm curious as to how they came to that conclusion.  Polygraphs?  I bet that must have led to some awkward moments.

Sexuality is broad so I think it's unfair to outright say homophobes are gay.

Arousal isn't necesarilly the only reason said occurence happens in the first place.

While I've never read the full study, I'd imagine much like similar studies of the type they work against that by making measurements with other emotional stimuli.

I know I'm gravedigging, but I should also like to include the cliché that the harder you're trying not to think about something, the more you WILL think of it.  Homophobes want to be disgusted, and not arroused by gays making out or doing whatever with other gays, but by focusing on those thoughts/feelings, they DO get arroused.

If you're perfectly fine with gays, and not shocked in the least bit, you'll most likely not display discernible physical um, things.  Since you're calm, and at peace with your own sexuality.  Not offended or think you should be.
