What's the weather like in Belgium? How hot is the summer, how cold the winter? Rainfall vs. sun vs. clouds? That sorta thing.

Hello cliché's

The weather, most people say, is between mild and lousy - though not as lousy as in England. It can rain a lot, be windy, and be cold. There's simply a LOT of rain per year.
Strangely enough, there's always a few months which seem to be rather rain-free, but you can't tell until the time's come

Could I be any more vague? ^^
Winters are not all THAT bad. It rarely snows, and doesn't freeze all that often either.
Summers are never piping hot, and often there's rain... but September and October can sometimes really surprise you with simple, warm weather, just like months like may can provide a heat wave - like was the case last May. It was hotter than it has been all summer, and it wouldn't rain for weeks.
Belgium, you'll find, is a peculiar country in all of its aspects, both meteorological and not.
PS: Don't just treat this as a "Ask a Belgian" thread, Rew. I'm a person who has feelings too and is unique like everyone else!
