The reasoning behind my responce was the fact that GH is (supposed) to be a concert. Although its easy to forget the fact, that is (one of) the creators' intention(s).
Also, personaly, I would never buy a live concert DVD or CD. Sorta kills the point of being "live."

Hahaha yea, I guess that does defeat the purpose of a live concert.
the song Ruby just made it to my top five songs, not the top songs that are fun to play though...

Agreed, although She Bangs the Drums beats that for the British music on the game...

I just need to 5* two more songs before I get El Jefe:
Knights of Cydonia (5k away, the outro owns me) Raining Blood (50k away......nuff said)
Top 5 songs to play (right now):
Minus Celsius The Way it Ends Jonas Slash's Solo Cliffs of Dover
and I have 8 100%s as of right now, but I should have at least 5 more.
100%: Mississippi Queen Anarchy in the U.K. Closer Generation Rock Radio Song Sabotage When You Were Young Metal Heavy Lady

Hello,
Thank you for writing us.
Downloadable content for the Wii is something we are working very hard on getting in place for the new year. There is no definite timetable in place but we are hoping it will be soon.
Regards,
RedOctane Customer Support.

That IS good news. Between the lack of downloadable content, the shitty-as-fuck graphics, and the mono issue, I was about ready to take the Wii version and trade up for the 360 version (were I to buy a 360, which may happen). This, and the news that the mono issue is also being fixed have saved my Wii guitar.

The mono issue is only a problem if you're using Pro-Logic. If your TV is playing in Pro-Logic mode, it'll only play in Mono. If you don't have a surround sound set up, you won't have a problem. Anyway, they'll also be offering replacement discs, so no worries.
Also, who cares about the graphics? That's the dumbest thing to complain about. They COULD look better, yes, but they just used the PS2 version because it's the lowest common denominator. For all I care it could just be a fret bar.

No point in complaining about what you don't even pay attention to. And if you do, then step it up and start playing TtFaF on Expert. For all I care it could just be a fret bar.
Now where did I hear that before?...

Well freak out about it. I think it's perfectly reasonable to complain about the graphics; especially when both of the previous GHs (even the PS2 versions) are clearly superior in that department and use smoother animations. You see, if you don't give constructive criticism, Neversoft can continue thinking its ok to keep churning out the bare minimum on a legitimate system that has been proven to be much more capable. Yeah, the graphics in GH3 aren't game-ruining, but the little things count. And it would've been nice to have been given the impression that they actually put some effort into the Wii version instead of just treating it like shovelware.

The noticable bad graphics is only because they're watered down versions of the Xbox360 and PS3 version. They're not optimized because they weren't build up for the PS2/Wii. It's like playing [insert new game] with a horrible videocard. It runs, but it doesn't support all the advanced technologies the other videocards do support.

Not true, they're entirely different assets built to run on PS2 then dumped over to the Wii. It's like playing [insert new game] with a horrible videocard. It runs, but it doesn't support all the advanced technologies the other videocards do support. That's a bad analogy, the are optimized for the PS2 and then put onto the Wii, like running an old outdated game on a new video card. The old, outdated game wasn't designed for the new features of the new card.

If that were so then the Xbox360 and PS3 version would've looked horrible as well, which they don't.

That logic is rubbish. If that were so then the Xbox360 and PS3 version would've looked horrible as well, which they don't. Because the 360 and PS3 have totally separate assets. There's two sets of assets for the game, those for the 360 and PS3, and those for the PS2 and Wii. The Wii is far superior to the PS2 technically, but they built the assets for the PS2 and just dumped them on the Wii.
