I played Rock Band at my friend's house, he's got a 52 inch HDTV downstairs so that was pretty fun.  I couldn't see myself getting the game, though, should it come to the Wii or should I buy a PS3/360, it's just too big a setup.
I could see myself getting that game, if only to play the drums. But because it's not really a challenging solo game for anything other than drums, I would have to have my friends over more often than not to play it. When you've got three other people playing that game with you, no other game is more fun. I'm seriousleh.

Has anyone played Rock Band 4-player on a standard TV? Is that even possible with the three fret boards on screen?

I just proved that either I'm awesome or my GF stinks. I beat her in battle without using powerups while she was on easy using powerups.

I have Rock Band, and I've done the 4 player on a standard TV, and to me it's no difference, you can fit 3 fret boards on the screen, and it's equally as fun. And true, playing with friends is the most fun you could have, it really is a good party/get together game. Granted it's not the hardest, but it can be challenging, especially online battle modes, but I prefer the online Co-op Quickplay.

On topic, Beh, I think it;'s a bit of both.

If you were playing on a higher difficultly setting than she was then the game is going to going to give you bonuses just for that, because you're playing more notes and what not. Honestly, if she wanted to beat you playing Easy while you're on Medium she'd have to do near about perfect and you'd have to fail horribly.

Why the fuck would you play with your feet? I'm sorry but that's just weird.

Eh, I've played with my feet. One, its a great way to show off with your friends and two, its harder and more of a challenge if you're bored with the game.

Play a different game? I'm not saying you can't do it though, by all means continue. I just find it weird.

By bored with the game, I meant bored with traditional playing. But, you're right, it is weird. Yet, its hard, as many people find the game is with just their fingers. But hey, no one is forcing you to play it as such.

In Rock Band there's a foot pedal aspect to the drum, so we had like six people at my friend's house and the drummer couldn't get past this one song on hard, so I became the "foot man" and just did the pedal with my hand.  It worked pretty well, actually.

Thats interesting. I'm only capable of Hard on the drums. I'm an Expert Lead/Bass Guitar, and Hard Vocals, but the most challenging and interesting part was the drums. The footwork does add a big challenge, especially when Expert level literally requires you drum every note. Foot cramps are a drawback though.

Expert has become too easy. It also has the advantage of being able to eat while you play.

It's not foot cramps for me, its calf cramps.  on easy.  Lol.  I don't get to play often, but when I do, my friends want me to sing because I am the only one who can ALMOST carry a tune in a bucket, and knows the songs.  the only thing I'll play on expert is the guitars.

and I think one of my friends is getting me GH III (the game) and another a wireless controller for my birthday.  My friends rock.

I'm on Hard mode doing drums, its a challenge because my foot cramps up, probably my whole leg soon.

Okay, looking for a release of Guitar Hero controllers for the Wii, I found these links:

Aerosmith? Please please please let this be real!

A little early to announce it?... Hopefully Clive is back in it. The Japanese girl was retarded.
