Is there something I'm not getting, am I doing something wrong? I can never do the back dismount on the Wii version of Twilight Princess. I've only ever done it a few times on accident, but can never do it on demand. Everything I can find online says Z+A, but this doesn't do anything except a regular dismount.

Anyone care to shed some light on this?

It have to be enemies around you, and I think you have to your sword drawn.. I'm not sure myself.

Forget wierdo button combos, that's garbage.

Unless I'm mistaken, start going fast with your sword out, jerk back on the control stick and dismount. And you may or may not have to have enemies around, I don't really remember.

I, for one, have no idea what's going on, and am proud of it.

Targeting an enemy while Epona is in motion worked a few times in a row, so I'm guessing thats the correct way. Also, does anyone know if you can do this at will on the GameCube version?

Who cares really? Just jump off. Works too, although not as fancy.

It's not that fast.... The enemy is closing in, or getting a hit ready.. That's mainly the whole point of the dismount.
