SG, have you considered that Tingle is lying? He could very easily be born next to lake Hylia. Also, Tingle never saved Link in MM. He didn't fly away when he sold a map, either. Just back to his old spot which was 2 feet off the ground.

You really think this can prove the single timeline when you so explicitly ignore Ganon being dead in TP? Also, people noticed what Link was doing. People in the town remarked on his latest tale. So you can't say that no one knew. Also, You have to use fanfiction to get Ganon out of the SR and into the excecution room.

Why do you believe OoT is the IW? Didin't you say Nintendo and the developers words mean nothing?

How could TWW Tingle lie about that? He didn't know about the HOT. Also, born in Lake Hylia? HTF did he get to Termina then? And I know Ganon died TWW intro: ''He crept from the depths of the earth'' explain that. Also, provide me with a quote that proves people knew. The Great Hylian Easter Egg Debate was meant to be our quest to find out what makes an Easter Egg an Easter Egg. Kind of got a bit side tracked, but if you want a basic Easter Egg definiton: "Hidden properties of games that can be revealed by button combinations or by accessing remote areas in the game or on the disc itself."

Since the LotF can only be accessed through the Tingle Tuner (read: remote area of game as few would bother with link-up) it could qualify as an Easter Egg under that definiton. (But we really need to work on a universal Zelda definition of Easter Egg...)

How's this: before TP, there was no split timeline, with the exception of MM. When they decided to make into a split timeline, they retconned the earlier games over to TP's side of the timeline. LOF was such an insignificant part of TWW that they didn't feel it was necessary to write an explanation for it.

Not to mention everything Tingle says is bs.

Ganny, did you forget everyone in Termina is supposed to a double of people in Hyrule? So why can't Tingle be in Hyrule? I know that we don't see Tingle, but there are characters in Hyrule that we don't see in Termina. And I never meant Tingle in TWW wrote that thing.. How the hell is he supposed to get into the Tower of the Gods before you? You raise it up AND theres a waterfall blocking the path to the top that you get rid of.

So, a corpse just started digging it's way out of the earth? Everyone knew he was sealed, it said so in the intro. Most people don't know about the TR as far as we know, and it was made before TP evebn began it's developement. Also, why the hell would sages unseal him only to try and seal him again? Except then there are peole that he can (and does) manipulate?

The point I was trying to make is that there is no universally acceptable definition of what constitutes an easter egg, or indeed the games' canon.
It really could go either way.

thus, he "FOUND" a fairy

Plus, it is possable that Tingle found Fairy Field

the Figurine Discription of the Fairy Queen said she was born there:
it is probely a place where fairys are born and grow (besides those from the deku tree)
maybe even an alternet demention

Tingle easily could have found it since he can fly with that balloon

 and as for why he isn't in OoT: he is FROM OoT
he and his dad made their was to Termina
it is the only logical conclusion i can find
