(This board seems dead  )

Onto the question:

I know for a fact that in OoT there is a way to skip the fire and water temples, the problem is I don't know how. I don't know if there's some major glitching like the seam walk to shadow temple or what. I'm doing a three heart challenge and it seems like this option would be easier than going through the dastardly water temple (I just don't like it). Please let me know this secret

You do all the stuff in the temple required to get the hookshot and take it. Don't finish it. Then go to the desert colossus, find the fairy, and get Nayrus love. Get the Golden Gauntlents and go to Ganons Castle. There is a fairy fountain there blocked by a rock. Use the gauntlents and throw it away to get the half damage thing. Then finish everything.

...The Golden Gauntlets are in Ganon's Castle. That wouldn't work.

I forgot where they were because its been years since I played the game.
Then just get Nayrus Love. And since the three heart challenge is hard and you knew it would be hard, why did you start it if you knew you were going to try and ignore the water temple?

Really? Fire AND water temples altogether? Okay lets List em down:
  • You need the Bow in the Fire Temple and Up
  • You need the Megaton hammer in the Spirit temple
Whatever though... I just know that I skipped the Fire and Water Temples at Halfway and completely skipped the Shadow Temple.  .

Sounds cool to skip the temples.  Wish they would use that cheat in the self insert fanfics to save time writing, That would be fun having a little history changed then reading about it from the character POV's and seeing their thoughts.   I would definitely read it if done well.

Link:  You know what I am going to try to skip this Goddeses cursed Water Temple (Thinks of ways to do it)

OC:  Yes I agree it's such a pain in the a--.  I did like 30 times there  (Girl already explained about being from another world a little after they got to know each other more when she got cornered)

Um, what are you talking about? :

I thought I'd post in here before, but apparently I haven't.

I know about the skip temples thing.  The game assumes you've beaten the first 3 temples once you get the Shadow Medallion.

And there's several items you don't even need to beat the game.  *points to the Uber-Challenge thread*

Agreed.

Here's a list of some of the items that you don't need to beat the game:

Iron Boots
Silver Scale
Zora Tunic
Gold Gauntlets
Lens of Truth
Longshot
Goron's Bracelet

...among others.

You don't really need Din's Fire either.  There's a way to get into the Shadow Temple without having to worry about opening the door.

Do you even need the Goron Tunic?  It would depend on whether you would be doing a speedrun/minimum heart run I guess.  Only Volvagia would give you some problems if the heat is getting to you.
