It’s about 4.59 here in Southern Cali and that’s for the regular unleaded gas. That's freakin' ridiculous.

The oil price hasn't moved much in the past month and analysts here think fuel prices should be reflecting that, but aren't. If anything, they're going up instead of coming down, even with the temporarily-plateaued oil price.

gas is 4.06 here in florida, but when i was in chicago last week it was 4.18 already
i had to fill up my SUV yesterday and it was 80 dollars. my social life is going to end soon.
who's seen the new Honda that runs on water? nice.

Now the sky's the limit...the LOWEST gas prices in my hometown right now are at about $4.40/gallon for regular and about $4.89/gallon for diesel! On the upper end of them, diesel in my hometown is as high as $5.11/gallon, and gas is approaching $4.60/gallon. Scarier still, I was in Stockton, CA (about 20 minutes from Tracy, which is where I live) a couple weeks back and I saw a gas station and.......Premium Gas was $5.16/gallon!!!!  *Sigh* |

UK price update: (Prices per litre):
Cheapest unleaded: 107.9p (Gateshead)
Most expensive unleaded: 125p (Northampton)
Cheapest diesel: 117.9p (Mansfield)
Most expensive diesel: 138.9p (Hexham)
A little over a month later: Cheapest unleaded: 114.9p Most expensive unleaded: 129.9p Cheapest diesel: 117.9p Most expensive diesel: 139.9p Still crazy expensive in your US Gallons... (Really can't get my head around the maths, bet it's piss simple though.) EDIT: Okay, 4 of our litres = 1 US Liquid Gallon. Taking our average national Unleaded price (117.9p) and multiplaying that by 4 takes our price to 471.6p per US Gallon, that's near enough $9.50... |

Slightly off topic, but last night I had a dream that gas prices in my area suddenly shot up to $7 a gallon, and one place in my dream even had it for $10 a gallon! I take it back, it wasn't a dream...it was a nightmare, and one that I hope never comes true.  In the real world, gas is staying about the same and has gone down a bit. I still don't get why diesel is more expensive than gas, though. Stupid taxes and such, I bet...  |

Yeah, I noticed how it went down a cent (not being sarcastic, it was on the news and everything XD). It's like $4.07 here. The last time we filled up the car, though, we surprisingly found a cheap (well... y'know) price of $4.03.

Around here, premium unleaded is $3.99. Unleaded with ethanol is around $3.74. Unleaded is $3.84.
