    I've done some research over the past few days, And I've noticed some pretty strange crap...



The Mayan Civilzation, is greatly known for their Astrological Wealth of knowledge. From Solar Calendars to Monuments Respresenting the Gods, There is One Mayan Pophecy That is quite well known and feared...
It is the Mayan Prophecy of the End of the world.

        As avid stargazers, the ancient Maya were keen to an astrological cycle we call the Precession of the Equinoxes. This is close to a 26,000 year cycle in which Earth transits through each of the 12 signs of the zodiac for about 2152 years each. Each of these astrological ages represents one month of the grand, Cosmic Year. Sumerians, Tibetans, Egyptians, Cherokees, Hopi, and Mayans refer to this same 26,000 year cycle in their mystical belief systems and each have developed calendars based on this great cycle.


        The Beginning of this Cycle Begins In AUGUST.According to the correlation between the Long Count and Western calendars accepted by the great majority of Maya researchers (known as the GMT correlation), this starting-point is equivalent to 11 August 3114 BCE.

        Now, Get This: 

In the early hours of Sunday,August, 2003, Mars will come to within 43.1 million miles (69.4 million km) of our planet, appearing as a brilliant orange point of light. While the planet approached closer still in August 2003, when it was at its nearest for almost 60,000 years at a distance of 34.6 million miles.


        Sunday, December 21st Is the supposed End of the world Deadline for the Prophecy.


The Month That Mars Comes Closest To Earth Annually Is in August. August is the Beginning Of The Mayan Calendar. Accordingly, The end of the world is the end of the " 4th World" believe the mayans.

The End of the world Month takes place in December,2012. December is 4 months after August. August is the beginning of the Calendar 26,000 BCE, and December is the END of the Calender in 2012 AD, in DECEMBER. Which is the end of the FOURTH World Cycle. Four World Cycles, Four Months between August and December. Notice some similarities? Thats Scary.



Now, this is where more of mars comes into this theory, besides the fact earth and mars come the closest in AUGUST.

Oh goodness!  Is this a place to discuss one of the biggest questions that I wonder about?  Whoo hoo!  I'd be glad to talk about this.  I've got quite a lot of data on this and would love to see what others think about it.   Now we have to give good data to back this stuff up, not just things some quack thought up and thought it sounded good to make a buck.  And there is good data.  Very ODD data and it extends to another area.  Not just Earth, not just Mars.. our very own moon has very strange things on it.  I think in the next few weeks, this thread will either have a lot of people laughing or causing a lot of people to think harder about the subject.

I for one am VERY open to this sort of thing and it will be very interesting to present the data in a mature fashion and come at this from all angles.  I know theres some quacks out there that are just trying to make a buck but some people (like me) just want the truth..

Thank you!  I honestly didn't know about the August part!  I DO know about 2012...  and lets take a look at those numbers..   I'm sure you all know what I'm going to say...  yes... what object could LLR mention to tie this together... why..  The SUN of course.  Those 26 thousand year periods would contain 2 of the sun cycles of going into hyper mode.  The sun goes through major changing cycle every 11-15 thousand years.  What coincides with this cycle?  Our solar system lines up perfectly with the galactic plane.   To picture the galactic plane imagine that the galaxy is a CD or Record.  You hold up a marble next to it and bob it up and down while going around the CD.  When the marble and the CD are in a straight line is exactly what is happening!  The marble represents the solar system while the cd represents the galaxy.  Now that area along the center of the galaxy is a bit.. different..  That area holds more energy.  Now when the Sun passes though that area it for some reason, triggers that huge cycle in the sun.  Those cycles are thought to be very dangerous.  MASSIVE solar flares, radiation storms and full halos (CMEs aimed at the earth) are just some of the things people are worried about.  The next time our solar system is schedules to dive into the galitic plane is...  December 21st, at 12:21am on 2012.


Somehow, the Mayans KNEW of these cycles.  So how much did the Mayans know and where did they learn it?   Lets dive in.


Ok so first lets go back to about as far as we can.. the Egyptians.  The pyramids are amazing and are not understood very well.  Who built them, why?  Whats really under the sphinx's paw?  And is it related to other strange formations found on other planets?

Lets take a look at Egypt first.  (we will get into who built the pyramids tomorrow, I'll say this though, theres clues in Roman, myth, Greek myth and even the Bible) So theres some pictures and theorys by Wane Herschal

Wayne Herschel contends that all 50 pyramids in Lower Egypt replicate the prime stars on one side of the Milky Way. He also confirms Robert Bauval’s theory that the three main pyramids of Giza conclusively represent Orion, however he identifies a new scale interpretation very different to that of Bauval’s. If one were to look for clues as to why the ancient Egyptians only represented one side of the Milky Way in their pyramid star map, what becomes evident is that all the stars, except for one, are not Sun-like. Also, it hardly seems coincidence that all except for one monument do not display the distinctive pyramid shape. It is the obelisk shaped Sun Temple of Ra near Abusir that exhibits this very unique scenario. It turns out that the pyramids at Abusir represent the Pleiades and that this nearby ‘sun’ monument may explain the reason for the entire star map







The Sun Temple of Ra at Abusir divides the entire pyramid field along the River Nile proportionately into two distinct halves on either side of it. With each side displaying an ingenious independent layout scale intentionally encrypted into it! The reason for this will be covered in the book. The Sun Temple itself forms the epicenter of the entire star pyramid field. Gouging by what so many of the Egyptian texts say and from an apparent global obsession with this particular cosmic area, the star represented by this unusual pyramid undoubtedly qualifies as the ‘x’ that marks the spot on the star map.

This monument correlates with one of a handful of nearby Sun-like “G” classification stars appearing only in this position at a very ancient epoch. It is no coincidence that it was called a Sun Temple… but it was not our Sun that was being revered in the beginnings of Egypt!





This is a close up of the Saqqara area compared with a more detailed star map of the constellation of Andromeda. Note how the smaller pyramids seem to have small star counterparts. At Giza the small pyramids also have smaller stars correlating like this.

So have the rovers picked up anything "odd" that we know of?  Yep!  This is actually kind of funny in its own creepy way..

MARS HUMANOID SKULL?


Normally this is the kind of evidence that I often pass up reporting on because it is most often too weak as something real and that I have confidence in that others can recognize. In fact, I've had this particular discovery from the Spirit Sol 513 data for awhile vacillating on whether to report on it at all or not. But then a sharp eyed viewer Eduardo Lucena in Brazil very recently discovered this object and brought it back to my attention. Since it is stronger than the usual evidence of this kind and there is something similar to compare it with in this same image, the refocus caused me to decide to report on it fully here after all.

The typical Rover imaging because of its closer views across portions of the Mars surface is full of intricate detail that tends to overwhelm the eye and brain due to the sheer number of objects and in such multitude of form, shape and variety it is normal to regularly run across something that looks familiar to the Earth human eye. For example, in the above first image look in the lower right corner area and you will see a light color object alone there pointed out with a black arrow that looks very much like a dog swimming with his head and neck sticking out of the water, uh soil. Although it looks at this distance just like a dog's head and even holds up pretty good under closer examination, it just doesn't quite hold up as such under the closest examination and I might add that the always prevalent image tampering ignored it as well.

On the other hand, while old Fido's head profile there is right out in the open in plain sight and readily apparent to the eye, the humanoid skull/head evidence site pointed out with the two blue arrows in the lower left area of the above first image is partially obscured and normally would at first glance be considered the lesser evidence. Even so, a factor that drew my attention to it for closer examination is the area of what is suppose to be slight sand build up to our right of the object and the dark material around the base of the object itself partially obscuring it. In my experience, this appeared to be very suspect as possible image tampering and anything the tampering software is interested in, then I am certainly interested in as well.



The above 4-way split screen image says a lot about this evidence. Of what portion we can see of it, this object looks incredibly very much like an anatomically correct humanoid skull or perhaps a humanoid statue head sticking out of the ground staring sightlessly upward from its dark empty eye sockets and its general position suggests an unseen body laying on its back under the ground. Note the anatomically general size and shape, the forehead, the empty socket dark eye holes, the bone bridge between the eye holes, the nose projection, and the beginnings of one side of the mouth. Information just not to be ignored.

However, for me, what makes this even more reportable as anomalous evidence even more than its general look is the fluffy image tampering applications clustered around the base of the object. This darker bulky obscuring area isn't rocks and/or shadow as one might at first presume, it is image tampering giving it this false bulky look in those spots. To be able to see this image tampering texture better is why I've included the lower right fourth split screen lightened image. Note the diffuse fluffy fuzzy quality that are these darker tampering areas. This is typical of false artificially added information as compared to real solid particulate surfaces like the real ground level bone (skull) or artificially worked statue head material that are of course as hard surfaces much more solar light reflective. For me, it is these image tampering applications partially obscuring this object that gives much more credence to this being something someone did not want us to be able to adequately recognize.

So why not just hide the whole thing? I suspect that is often the case with the most critical geometric and linear shaped evidence so suggestive of artificiality where all is hidden under obliterating applications. I suspect great multitudes of anomalous and very real visual information has been successfully hidden in this way and we may never know how much. Likewise, I suspect that great multitudes of perfectly normal natural geology have also been needlessly hidden because it may have demonstrated a little too much geometric or linear geometry suggestive of artificiality that the imperfect software is programmed to recognize and not like.

However, more irregular shaped objects and angles are another matter and it is apparently not so easy for the automatic tampering software's programming to recognize this kind of material as objectionable and a possible candidate for its tampering applications. For example, there is my Report #073 titled "Animal Fossil Skulls on Mars" where the animal fossil skull evidence has no tampering on it at all. The tampering software clearly doesn't see such animal evidence as different than other normal rocks in the terrain. On the other hand, what may be true of animal fossil evidence and what may be true of humanoid skull evidence could be two very different matters.

Still, if that's true, why the only partial tampering applications here? I suspect the answer to that may be in the location of exactly where the tampering concentrates on this particular object and that is not on its most recognizable humanoid features. I suspect that this being or statue representation of a being included a suit of some kind with objects on either side of the neck at the lapel areas. To the tampering software and its much closer much more detailed than admitted to imaging, either these objects had recognizable geometric forms or lines or the suit's stand up lapels had organized geometric forms on them and this was the target of the automated image tampering rather than the head area itself. Partially obscuring the head may have just been a secondary factor.

And the number four means what? Is it going to change things things or is it just an oddity you thought you could use to try and come up with a conspiracy theory of some sort? Yes, there is a rock that looks like a face. Whats that supposed to prove? Do you have any evidence that there is any advanced life in the universe that is superior to us AND would decide to help advance certain cultures with astronomy?

How does anything you've said here prove that aliens came to the mayans? And why is it so hard to believe that a less advenced civilization could discover that knowledge? Is it arrogance stemming from the belief that our civilization is so great that no one that is less advanced could discover things on their own? Do you believe that because their weaker and less advenced technology limited them so much that is is impossible they could have gained the knowledge without help?

Also, once a tampering application is applied, it is typical for the software to string and dribble additional applications in varying degrees and densities at random out to the side of the original application. The purpose of this is to make the original target site applications less concentrated and uniform looking, more irregular looking, and therefore less obvious.

Meanwhile when anomalous evidence of life like this is found, further research is normally done around in the other rover cameras on the same Spirit Sol 513 to see if any better visual evidence can be found. In this case, there wasn't much of anything on the skull evidence but there was some different evidence that I thought you might be interested in seeing as appears in the next images below. Remember, this is at the same Sol 513 Spirit rover location but now from the navigation camera view pointed in a different direction and out in the distance. Normally I would not report on this kind of more obscure evidence either but here I think you may find it informative.




The above third image in this report is a scene from the same Spirit Sol 513 but from the front Navigation camera. It is presented here just as it appears size wise in the science data. You should know that the image is much smaller than normal for a Navigation camera image and consequently provides only a very tiny distant view of the area in question. In comparison other Nav-cam shots on even this same Sol 513 day but in different harmless directions are much larger as is normal for the Nav-cam imaging as opposed to the small image you see above.

When I see this kind of distancing manipulation, I start looking closer because it is often a tip off that something may be hidden here. Such distancing manipulation is most often very successful and there's not much to be done about it but move on. Even so, although I do not normally report this weaker evidence, I still learn from it myself and so the effort is never wasted. Now look at the poor quality closer images below and you be the judge.



In the mid to lower left of the above fourth 200% zoom view image pointed out by the dual directional blue arrow, there is a straight linear relatively shallow ditch dug in the terrain. Just above that in the left of the image pointed out with the blue arrow is what looks suspiciously like a poorly seen relatively small excavated pond area. Just right of center in the upper part of the image pointed out with a blue arrow is a long linear horizontal line of light color blur/smudge image tampering hiding something there. Just above that partially obscured behind the base of a hill coming down from left to right pointed out with another blue arrow is what may be a vaguely seen long linear structure with small windows in it. Behind that in the darker background appear to be vaguely seen indistinct structures but this latter evidence is seriously compromised by both the distance and blurry .JPEG compression artifacts so typical of the poor quality rover imaging as released to us.



The above fifth image provides a 400% zoom view that is at the same time poorer in quality and inconclusive but yet still providing some better information as to on what I've suggested to be anomalous evidence. I suspect we are looking at the edge boundary of a civilization evidence site nested in between some low hills here but you decide for yourself. For me, the presence of the direct image tampering applications I've labeled in blue color in the above fifth image as well as the general reduction in total image size amounting to manipulation cutting resolution significantly on this scene is by itself telling evidence as to what we may be looking at here.

So, although the evidence here in this report isn't strong enough to be conclusive, Sol 513 for the Spirit Rover in Gusev Crater was still actually a little informative for us but not quite so great for the secrecy crowd as a little suggestive real information may have gotten through to us in spite of the efforts to prevent it. This is the way it is in the MER-A/B Spirit/Opportunity closer imaging where advancement in imaging technology is turned to benefit only an elite few and augmented on their behalf by advancements in obfuscation technology promoting the perception of mostly false illusions and leaves less and less tidbits of truth laying around for us to find.

In other words, we in the public are good enough to pay for the tremendous cost to secure this information but, although by law it is our property and not remotely the property of those who are suppose to be acting on our behalf and in who's custody we have placed this data, we are kept in complete ignorance and the real information is kept in secrecy by a select few for their unknown purposes. Smells way too much like a one sided feudal system at work to me. Is this how you want your lives and world to be, sucking at pablum and illusion while reality marches on passing us by?

My advise is to expect more of same out of the newest MRO upcoming imaging data as both the imaging and the obfuscation technology will be even more advanced with the net providing less of anything real and much better illusion perception. In other words, if you in the public out there don't get a clue soon and decide to demand correction of this course and the revealing of truth out of your leadership, don't expect something better you can get behind to come along later. We are all on the cusp of our future right now.

Yes they are watching me dispense this information to you but really they are sitting back using me and even more watching you to gauge your reactions or lack of same to this information. Further, the secrecy controller types aren't the only ones watching you. Will the sleeper awaken? Only you can decide.

I don't see much solid evidence for anything out of the ordinary here.  The Mayans were advanced, and their calendar ends a cycle on a date in time in the near future.  That's all.

Yep, presumably theres a hall of records, sonar scans show a room 60X60 with something large in the center.  The Egyptian government will NOT let anyone dig to it or do any investigations of that area.

The fact that the calender ENDS on that date, is foreboding.   The calender says that it keeps track of all the days till the end of time, the time stops at 2012.

Thanks!  Sorry for going a bit off topic in the first place though.  I just think its a very large subject and to me, its not just limited to the Mayans and Mars.  The Egyptians knew a lot too.  However it WAS the Mayans that predicted that 2012 would be the end of time, and that time coincides with our Suns solar maximum and the diving into the galactic plane.    So I think that should be the main subject of the topic however I would still like to present data from other areas.

The Mars Cydonia "Face" object your see above and its controversy has been very well known all over the world for quite a few years now and has a lot of followers. Reputations have been forged on it, websites created on its foundations, books written, and money made on it. Why? Because of the obvious that it is interesting and visually suggestive evidence. Some of you have noted that, in the time since the inception of this work in year 2000, this subject has been conspicuously absent from this website's evidence reporting.

I'm often asked why? In fact, in email I'm asked why so much that it is becoming a burden on my now increasingly very limited time to answer and try to explain myself in this regard over and over again. To those that have asked, I usually cryptically advise that it has been explored to death by others and, in my opinion, the "Face" evidence was a trap for the unwary laid by the secrecy agenda who floated it into public awareness intentionally. I also indicated that I did not want to step on the toes of others who have spent so much time exploring this evidence. After all, the Cydonia "Face" is their thing, not mine.

However, I did not go on to explain myself in detail because that would have opened up more doors and questions. So I suspect my responses were less than satisfactory to many of those who asked. But, now that I am running out of room time wise to deal with this over and over again in email, I've come to the decision that I need to put in my two cents on this and better answer those that have asked. However, the question is can I add anything new of substance to this issue that has been examined by so many? You be the judge.



As you can see, the above first image is a split field. The left panel is the Viking image number 035A72 of the Face and the right panel is a different Viking image number 070A13 of the same Face. You should be aware that there are also other different Viking images of this object but these two have the best view of the Face by far and are the ones that many clarified images have been published from over the years. This is also true of the Face orientation you see here.

Now both of these are raw official science data images shown at 100% of their original size and just as released to the public. Each of these images have been flipped vertically by me to present the same view that has always been presented by NASA and the media. They have no image clarification work in them by me. On the other hand, I did rotate the right panel image just 15º clockwise so that the entire field of view and orientation of that right image would be close to the same as the left panel view facilitating a more meaningful side-by-side comparison. This had no impact on the evidence.

At first there appears nothing much to see in the images because of the poor resolution. However, I want you to study the position of the Face and the location and shapes of the other terrain forms in the above raw images scenes and try to commit their shapes and locations to memory. Also do note that the position of these terrain forms nearby the Face agrees between the two left and right views. Since these are suppose to be original raw data images, the terrain patterns and locations here will set the reference standard by which the rest of the images further down here in this reporting will be judged.

Note that this entire reporting will deal only with the Face subject matter and not the other terrain forms around it as others have done. It is not my intention to duplicate or comment on the work of others that has often been quite extensive. For that, you need only to visit a search engine of your choice and use key words "Cydonia Face" to bring up a wealth of information.



The above second image is also a split field view. These are the same two Viking 035A72 left and 070A13 right images but these have been processed and cleaned up at official level to eliminate the distracting camera artifacts so visible in the proceeding raw unprocessed images. Neither of these images have any graphics work in them by me including no rotation. As you can see, this demonstrates the official manipulated orientation of the Face that I spoke of earlier.

Note that the faint shadow the Face is throwing in the above second image left panel is long while the shadow in the right image is much shorter confirming the different times during the Mars days that these images were taken. The two color images at the very top of this report are developed from these two official images and of course do have graphics clarification work by me in them as well as the color work. In those two top color images, note that the shadows thrown are more pronounced and identifiable.

Also note that the above second image right view is ever so slightly closer than the left. This explains how some terrain form evidence at the periphery in the right view doesn't include exactly everything seen in the left view. Now with that taken into consideration, note that everything in the official left field is essentially faithfully reproduced in the right field. However, now take a look at the image below.



In the above third split image, it seems the Face is no longer the principal evidence but rather the nearby associated terrain forms are and that is where you need to look. Note that this terrain form evidence has changed positions in the right panel official processed image as well as what appear to be new terrain forms are now in evidence relative to the left panel raw reference image. Note that the flat top mesa in the bottom left corner of the left image is not present at all in the right image and a crater is now in its place.

The obvious initial reaction is to think okay we've caught them right in the act of artificially manufacturing evidence here but that isn't exactly correct. What we have done is caught them carelessly manipulating the evidence without apology or notation that they have done so. To further demonstrate this, now take a look at the larger field of view image below.



The above fourth image demonstrates a wider field of view of the third image's right panel. Note that the Face orientation is as it always has been. However, despite the Face orientation being the same as always, note that the flat top mesa in the upper right corner is now far removed to the right from the Face. Even so, if you will look more closely, all of the terrain forms in the raw images are there but just in different positions. Because the Face is in the same apparent position/orientation as the previous raw data images, this obviously has the appearance of some serious artificial manipulation of the image and that is true but only to a limited extent. Now check out the next image below.



The above fifth image again demonstrates the reference 070A13 raw image in the left panel and the previous fourth wide field image reduced in size 40% and then flipped horizontal and also rotated 60º around counter clockwise in the right panel. That's a lot of flipping, rotating, and manipulating. But, as you can see this flipping and rotating of the fourth wide field of view image reestablishes the Face and terrain features in relation to each other so that they once again agree with the left panel raw reference image.

What this does do is demonstrate the evidential point here that this degree and kind of image manipulation has in fact been done at official level. Explaining this away as just simple carelessness by professionals is inadequate and just not believable unless we are to consider that these professionals on our public payroll are incompetent and I very much doubt that. This obviously suggests that "processing" or "cleaning" up raw imaging may include much more manipulation than just simply removing camera obscuring artifacts in the imaging, which is all that is suppose to be happening to official science data in such processes.



Now the above sixth image demonstrates the other 035A72 official processed and cleaned image on the left and on the right the same image but with some minor very simple clarification work in it by me. This is to provide a clearer view of the evidence and specifically of the faint shadow evidence thrown by the three largest terrain forms in this view as pointed out by the short white arrow labels. Note that the longer shadows obviously demonstrate a lower on the horizon sunlight angle.

However, take special note that the shadows are not as dark as they should be but are abnormally light and faint in color in the official imaging and even in my clarified image. Note also that the left panel official image looks like one is looking through a thin fog between the camera and the ground level evidence relative to the clarified right image.

The natural assumption of course for the innocent and perhaps naive is that, if atmospheric conditions are not a factor here, this foggy obscure look must be due to camera and/or data transmission inadequacies. However, in my opinion, this is not true and the "fog" and faint shadows are the real evidence here because they are due to image tampering. The old 1970s Viking data is full of a wholesale blanketing type semi-opaque (partially transparent) smudge applications and my 2003 Report #054 titled "Viking Tampering Evidence" demonstrates a few samples of some of this.

The reason why the shadows are so light, vague and less pronounced than they should be is because this whole scene has been subjected to a fairly heavy semi opaque smudge treatment. It covers over and hides all ground level normal size evidence of any kind while leaving the largest size terrain forms a bit visible but slightly altered and the artificially lightened shadows due to the smudge applications covering them are an example of this. The larger major terrain forms are not as severely affected, except in the loss of finer more normal size detail, while the shadows thrown being less substantial are more affected.

That's at ground level but then the whole scene is subjected to a very light almost transparent opaque smudge treatment creating the fog look to further obscure detail. The look is interpreted as plausible by the innocent who want and need to have faith in their leaders and that encompasses the bulk of the population including the science and academic communities not in the secrecy need to know loop. After all, most people are mostly interested in their own personal affairs and place a lot of trust in leadership to handle more technical matters and are not inclined to question them as "experts."

The top final layer in the scene is the thin stuff creating the general fog look, but its application flattens the layers of obfuscation below it. That means that my very simple clarification work can in part defeat the top thin layer (just like in the Hale Crater reporting) providing the generally better looking right panel image you see above but not very much with the layers below that. That means that the whole scene appears sharper but the still too light shadows in the right panel demonstrate that the main lower obfuscation layers are very resistive to such clarifying work. This means that, while the whole right panel image scene looks much better including the large Face formation, the truth is that the bulk of everything normal size in the terrain around and what ever might be on the major terrain forms is still well hidden.

Just look more closely at the first image here in the right panel (the raw Viking 070A13 image) at the beginning of this report. Note how dull, non light reflective, smooth, and uniform color everything is regardless of what it is. True bare geology, such as what this scene is suppose to represent, does not behave like this in sunlight. That's because raw geology is bright and reflective and changing in reflectivity over uneven terrain.

Do you really REALLY think you are actually looking at Mars geology? What you are looking at is uniform smudge covering everything like a coat of paint in this scene compromising it to almost blank uniformity. The only thing real you are seeing are the vague outlines of major terrain forms printing through this "paint" like coating.

It has always amazed me how professionals in space science and visual imaging could buy into and not question that relatively smooth dull terrain and believe that it is real. I have to ask, don't they ever look at satellite imaging of Earth for comparison? For example, raw solid particulate geology is full of rough angles and very light reflective in differing degrees due to the angles. On the other hand, artificial smudge applications are of course not real and therefore cannot reflect light at all. Now go back and note in the above first raw images that everything, and I do mean everything except the largest terrain forms, is not only very smooth but uniformly dull and not light reflective. The FBI would call that a clue.

Then too there are the image file sizes here in this report to consider. Some of you may have noticed that my report images here are a bit wider and vertically deeper than normal. This was necessary to include more terrain area information around the Face. That image size increase would usually mean that the image file sizes would also be increased and larger. However, the reverse is true. Even though the images here are larger, the file sizes are smaller than normal. In my experience, that is because the graphics software is reading only the top surface of the smooth smudge image tampering applications and not what is below them. The FBI would call that a clue as well.

So the very suggestive "Face" evidence becomes a story more about yet more boring image tampering issues rather than civilization evidence. In such crummy manipulated Viking imaging, the Face is an issue that will remain speculative because of insufficient quality of the visual evidence. Unlike the MGS MOC official science data mistakes fixed in time and place in public posting that my usual discoveries are drawn from, this Viking Face evidence was never visually definitive enough to be conclusive and any subsequent imaging that might clarify is always in the control of those associated with secrecy meaning that any subsequent imaging would always be suspect.

You need to know that this Face evidence was purposely floated into public awareness by official level people and not by those independent types like Richard Hoagland of www.enterprisemission.com who later did well by promoting it into public awareness and popularizing it. For the secrecy types who initiated floating this speculative evidence into the media and public consciousness, the resulting speculation and capturing the public imagination over the years benefited them.

How? By keeping interest in Mars and future Mars and other space exploration missions alive and well and the money pipe open through the lean years of taking the hits of having to report missions as failures likely because of inadequately developed obfuscation technology. It also allowed the time to refine the image obfuscation technology to develop to the more refined and effective level it is today as with the ESA and MRO imaging without harming the overall programs funding.

For the rest of us, in my opinion, the Face evidence does amount to a trap to catch the incautious and unwary because the subject was never out of official manipulative control. It was never a mistake slipping into the data record but an intentional manipulation. Of course hindsight like this I'm doing here is easier. In the earlier days of the 1980s, this insight would have been less clear as others thought they had something to really work with in the Face evidence.

The fact is that the original 1970s Viking data is just too poor and obfuscated as released to resolve the "Face" issue. Further, in light of the official manipulation samples that I have discussed here in this report, anyone who expected very much out of the subsequent MGS MOC, THEMIS, ESA or MRO imaging of this object to resolve these matters would, in my opinion, be too trusting and likely also be a good candidate for a slightly used bridge I have in mind to sell you located in London at a real bargain price.



Speaking of others hoping the subsequent official imaging would clarify this issue, take note of the above seventh image demonstrating the various views of the Face in the more recent years MGS MOC, THEMIS, and MRO imaging. The THEMIS image in the lower left panel is infrared and so it is short on visual detail on this object. However, both the MGS and MRO images appear to clearly demonstrate and are actively promoted as demonstrating that this object is just a badly eroded natural land form.

So is the case closed? That depends on who you are talking to. The trusting believe and, in my opinion, need to believe that the case is closed. On the other hand, the less trusting are not remotely convinced by this subsequent reimaging. For a good example analysis and discussion representing the latter view, go to this link at Meta Research to learn more. This is Tom Van Flandern's page on this issue. He has a Ph.D. from Yale, long associated with U. S. Naval Observatory, teaches astronomy, has been a consultant to JPL, and appears to entertain the concept of at least past intelligent life on Mars.

As for my position on this subsequent supposedly definitive imaging of the Mars Cydonia Face, it is nothing more than I would have expected. My point here is that you can never rule out the human manipulation factor. When it comes to the Face and considering the manipulation associated with it discussed above dating all the way back into 1970s science data, I frankly do not trust any of these updated views to be legitimate or informative and regard them as merely spin. However, you must decide for yourself.

Additionally, take a closer look at the above seventh image evidence. Note the general outline shape of this supposedly natural land form and its clear isolation and uniform shield shape. These are factors well and clearly represented in the old Viking images and that means that they could not be messed with in any subsequent imaging manipulation while finer detail too vague to be seen in the Viking images could be manipulated. That uniformity of outline and its oh so uniform proportions doesn't look natural to me at all and does not look like any natural land form I've seen on Mars.

In fact, it looks like what I suspect it is, an artificially shaped mesa land form serving as a artificially shaped raised frame and platform for what ever was or is on top of it that we have yet to achieve a legitimate view of. So, as far as I am concerned, even the supposedly definitive imaging that the official position would like us to believe proves this to be a natural formation still supports the suggestiveness of artificiality. Now note that I said suggestive as opposed to conclusive and that is as far as I can go.

Conclusive either way is not going to come until the day comes that we achieve the real unobfuscated science data imaging that I suspect is hidden away somewhere and/or the secrecy agenda voluntarily gives up and reveals the truth. Until that day comes, the Mars Cydonia "Face" remains an unresolved enigma that still, in my opinion, leans in favor of artificiality.

Well the fact that so many images can be taken from this one mountain is amazing. Refer to the images of the mayan glyphs that can be seen out of some rotations and sides of the face mountain. Its either human instinct, that we see things and sdraw conclusions ever so quickly, or, its that messages between mars and the mayans were somehow transmitted.

Nope, its like getting next years calender and there is no next year, you ask "why no dates after this?" you then find according that that particular calender, there wont be a year after that.  If its only that cycle ends, then we have no idea (or at least they didn't) what kind of NEW cycle there is after that.  Some think that it will be an age of enlightenment.  Perhaps science finds a new way of making free energy for all.  That would totally change the world forever!  And that would break the cycle of what the Mayans saw as "this" cycle.  What ever it is, according the the Mayans its a HUGE deal.  Its not just that a new calender picks up where the old one left off.   Its some life changing event that is either great (people get free energy or more enlightenment) or bad.  (all life on earth ends, mass extinction)  The fact that the date is on 2012 and that happens to be when the Sun goes through its solar maximum for changes is very unsettling.  No one has any idea what the sun will do.  But there is this, NASA and other communication companies are already thinking that all their satellites will go dead after 2012 because of massive solar flares and CMEs and are making plans to have new satellites launch after that date.

It will be interesting to see what really does happen.  If we are all still here, then I guess we can finish the count to a million thread.

Ancient Cultures and high technology.  The Mayans, had the most accurate calender ever made, knew detailed info on other planets.  How did they know?  Also, OTHER cultures that had high technology.  The Egyptians, how did they build the pyramids?  Why?  (no, they were not monuments of death.  That is a great myth that was started long ago to quickly explain the pyramids) The Kings Chamber, aligns perfectly with groups of stars at certain times of the year, it was meant for a person to sit in there on a certain date and make contact with God.  The Egyptian Gods, (or God?) what really happened all those years ago and what made the Egyptians so fixated on Death and the after life. (mummification ect, which is why people explained the pyramids to be burial temples in the first place, The pyramids were not built for that in the beginning)  OTHER pyramids around the world, (Mayans, Aztecs, Indians etc) whats the relation?   Also Atlantis,  where was it and what did those people have?  A city run by crystals?  When it sank where did it go?  Can we see it today?  (its closer than you think maybe.. well.. my opinion on where Atlantis is anyway.)

Our own Moon..   We sent people there, did they find anything?  More importantly, did they bring something back?  Buzz Aldrens Memory loss.  A few years ago he made a startling confession..  All those years when people asked him "what was it like to be on the moon?"  He emotionally states, "To this day..  I can't remember what happened up there..  Its really strange.  I can't remember what it felt like being on the moon."  Also  Monuments on the moon, is there city ruins up there.. or even.. are we there already?  Did JFK know something?  We will talk more about his dealings with the Russian President and what happened after a joined mission to the moon was discussed during the cold war.

To be honest, I don't think a catastrophic event will occur and most likely the sun will go back to business as normal.
Yet the Mayans' wisdom and knowledge of astronomy is certainly unsettling. Their calendars are unnaturally precise and it certainly seems possible they had foreign or supernatural help.  It's a pity the Spanish slaughtered them along with Inca's, some interesting information might've emerged.

I think certain people on this thread should read the topic more neutrally instead of bluntly denying theories. I know people tend to shy away from supernatural theories as the majority are obviously terrible lies yet some good points are being bluntly discounted.

I'll guess we'll find out in four years if the prediction is right anyway...

Of course it's not that they predicted that specific date to be the world's end, it's just that happens to be the day the Earth and the Sun align with the center of the galaxy. I am certainly enjoying the images and theories presented here and while I didn't read thoroughly or carefully enough to form my own opinion, I do have one question.

Do we know for a fact that the Mayans finished the calender? We know that they were kind of killed off by an outside force. Perhaps it was unfinished?
