Hey everyone,
I'm going to have a poll soon for Brawl characters that you wish were included in the game. But first I need your suggestions!
I will first nominate the two characters that I wished were in Brawl...

I'm gonna be a nice guy and not point out whats wrong with suggesting those characters, but I'm gonna play along.
I just wish Little Mac was a regular character instead of an assist.

Yes, I see what you mean now. But I do agree with Witless. Snake and Sonic weren't Nintendo characters, they just appeared in Nintendo games.
Now come on, who else did you want to be in Brawl?

Dark Samus, who would of moved around like Mewtwo, and had phazon-based attacks. I am so surprised the game didn't have any phazon attacks/environments/items.
Oh, and I also wish there weren't any clones like Iwata Sakurai *correction* said there wouldn't be.

Lloyd from ToS and Milly from Baten Kaitos Origins. Dark Samus should have been in, at least as a costume, but she isn't a vote.

Defiantly another Metroid character as a major series deserves more than one (and a half) characters. I would have liked to see Ridley, Dark Samus or hell even one of the Hunters.
I know Ridley has an awkward build and Dark Samus would be classified as a clone but I'm still disappointed. There are three Foxes so the clone argument can hardly be used and Ridley could have had a similar build to Charizard just Skinnier and taller.
Overall I think the character roster is pretty good. I hated the idea of ROB being a character with a passion but atleast his unique and intresting to use.

Needed a real WTF? character from Nintendo's past. Everyone knows who ROB is and he was already in Mario Kart DS so he doesn't count.

Megaman would have been nice. Some wanted the Bounty Hunters in Metroid Prime 3 and Hunters and I can pretty much agree with that too.

To be fair, Corruption was released after SSBB in Japan. There's no MP3 stickers or Trophies so it would be impossible to include the Hunters into the game. Still it wouldn't have been sweet. Megaman wouldn't have been a good addition..

Mega Man and Bomberman would have been my two favorites to put in the game. A Mega Man character would have dozens of possible moves, borrowing from all kinds of robot masters. He would have his Mega Buster, akin to Samus' blaster but just with 3 different stages of blasts, he would do a slide, use Rush Coil to do his Recovery move, and I suppose he could have a sort of Shield move too, surrounded by leaves/stars/skulls. His FS might be something like flying around on Rush Jet and shooting at everyone freely, or having Beat KO the nearest opponent. He could chuck napalm/drill bombs, or just random impact items, like the snakes from MM3. The possibilities are Endless! As for Bomberman, it'd be... bombs. He should be able to bowl with them, make a shield with them, power it up to be a bigger bomb, maybe even use a Karabon for a special move, or FS. Though for a FS I think BOMBS ALL OVER would be the only viable option, really

I've personally never played a Mega Man game, but he would probably be great in Brawl.
Bomberman is also a great suggestion. I loved Bomberman Hero.

I liked Mewtwo a little better than Lucario too, probably also because Mewtwo has always been BOSS, and Lucario is an overhyped 4th gen mon who isn't even more than half-decent in the games. Mewtwo is legendary, and still one of the THE most powerful mon out there. Plus, he's got more style. Also, amen for Link with a proper shield! What, Ganon in beast form? Interesting. |
