Recently announced, a new fallout game using the same engine as fallout 3.  This game is set on the west side of america in Nevada, centred around the city of New Vegas.  Whats more exiting is the game is being developed by the original developers of Fallout 1 and 2 AND it is being released next year.

I'm pumped, i wasn't expecting this at all, and i think its a brilliant idea, it gives us an RPG fix, whilst Bethstheda work on ES V and Fallout 4, it also allows us to see what Fallout 3 could have been like if it had not been put in Besthedas hands, which is an excercise of interest for me, and some of the more serious fallout fans wildest dream.

anyway, anyone else digging this?

I am totally digging this. Hell Ive played fallout 3 7 times and still like it. I have yet to get DLC's and will eventually. So I am excited that a new one is coming. this should be interesting being in Nevada and all. And hopefully they will have DLC's fo this to.

I picked this game up at launch and wasn't able to play it for a few days because of a heavy class load. It was pretty slow at the start for me and I found myself questioning the value of the game. I enjoyed Fallout 3 tremendously and put WAY too many hours into it.

Fallout: New Vegas eventually picked up and got good for me but for some reason I never got into it as much as I did 3. Which is a shame. I have yet to beat it and haven't played it for quite some time now having put it down to play some other games. Perhaps someday in the near future I'll pop it in and finish the game up.

I hear you can equip boxing gloves that don't actually kill.  It'd be interesting if they put other non-lethals in there as well.  Sort of like the tranquilizer gun from Perfect Dark.
