I am not on the forums very often, but you all know that I post the news on the main site, and if you frequent the main site, you know that to the left of every news story is a small icon that categorizes it.
Well, with all of the recent talk of the next Zelda game for 2009, I had to create an icon for the Zelda game, which we don't know a whole lot about. Because of this, I called everything related to the next Zelda: Zelda 2.0 and gave it this icon:
Needless to say, that image is kind of ugly. It's not that I am so bad with Photoshop, but I just am not very creative and couldn't come up with a better way to say it.
That's I come to you artists, on bent knee, begging for you to come up with something to use instead of that horrid image I created.
So, if you're interested in having your artwork displayed to the left of every piece of new Zelda-related info, please make me an image and post it here.
So, go ahead and post up a 60x60 pixel image in either PNG, JPG, or GIF format that is creative and gets people saying, "Boy, I wonder what DSCUBED has to say about the next Zelda!"
I am not really setting a deadline, but I will just say January 1st, 2009 for now.
I know that I am trusting the creation of this icon in very capable artistic hands! Have fun!
