Yes, folks, it's not a spinoff; it's the actual sequel to Dragon Quest VIII, the PS2 game. Do you have any idea how good this news is for Nintendo? How good it is for Nintendo fanboys, even?

Sounds interesting. Might have to pick it up, despite never playing any of the other games in the series. But those two screen shots it has show promise, as weird as that sounds.

I am happy for Nintendo, but i am bummed that it is not going to be a traditional turn based DQ game.
