About time too!!!

http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2009/04/03/vc-friday-majoras-mask-dsiware-available-in-europe-right-now/

Don’t know if this has been reported yet, haven't been around lately.
Just happened to check before and apparently it was released in Europe (PAL) on April 4th. I checked wiki and I don’t think it’s been released in North America yet.

Anyway look forward too playing it!!

Like I said when I posted this on the main site, I am really interested to see if they got the glitches out.

Aside from the obvious that Ocarina of Time was simply more popular, I was sort of set on the idea that the reason we hadn't yet seen Majora's Mask yet was because of the glitches Nintendo ran into in their port of the game to the Gamecube for the Collector's Edition.

I will be excited to have it here in the US eventually, but I am really now waiting with bated breath to see whether or not copious glitches are reported.  Considering the next-to-spotless track record of VC titles, I am pretty confident they've worked out the glitches.

From what I've heard from Europeans who've played it, it looks like they got all the glitches out of the VC version--some have even gone so far as to say it runs better than the N64 original. :3

Only one Aussie complained of glitches, but even he said they seemed to go away after a while.

or as i said in the other MM VC thing, they could be saving it up to generate hype for a new Zelda game, whether it is increased hype for spirit tracks or a joint effort for the announcement of zelda Wii...

Hopefully the glitches are out, I doubt there will be many major glitches remaining. I never played the GC port, was it really bad?

Downloading the game now, I only had 900 points yesterday, just 100 points shy
It takes up 256 blocks which is quite substantial.
Sorry DSCUBED didn’t see the post.

I'm just more interesting in seeing how the game will run because of the Expansion Pak it originally used. Perhaps that's why it's taken a while for it to come around here. They would have to re-program a lot of those effects manually. I could be wrong, though. How is it on the PAL VC? Look the same?

More or less the same really, I haven't noticed any differences between the two.
It controls easier with the Gamecube controller too which is a bonus.

Not surprising. The GCN controller is godly.

The *ONE* part that frustrated me the most about MM was the Goron dungeon in the Moon. It took me soooo long to get past it. I wanted that damn Fierce Deity Mask! Gah! I tried getting the Piece of Heart in that dungeon, too. Talk about embarrassment.

Still didn't get it. -_-;

Another part I hated was finishing the Stone Tower Temple. I originally couldn't find the last two keys and was low on hearts and died a few times. All in good fun, though,...right? I recently replayed all of Majora's Mask and no Zelda game has really challenged me like that in a long while. However, a dungeon's design itself shouldn't cause such problems. But, I suppose that's inherent when you create a dungeon that can fucking invert itself.

Yeah the GCN is godly. I hated the Goron roll dungeon on the moon too, the N64 controller digs into your thumbs after awhile. The Zora swim jump to collect the key in Stone Tower was a pain too.

I think its identical to the N64 cartridge, the only change I’ve seen is they have swapped the rewards for showing a photo of the Deku King and Tingle to the boat cruise Guy. You now get a heart piece for photographing Tingle and 100 rupees for the Deku King which is weird..

Its nice its finally released in America now too.
