Meh, I'm not getting my hopes up for anything.

Ofcourse, deep down, I hope for a new Zelda 'something' that has anything to do with the Wii. A new Zelda is basically all I'm waiting for on the Wii.

I hope to god they don't implement a 1st person Zelda thing, not even as a feature/gimmick.

For anything else non-Nintendo related:

King Hearts 3
Final Fantasy 13/Versus

That's all

I'm intrigued by Bethesda, but not really "excited" just yet. Sure, it could end up being something completely awesome that gets an automatic GOTY nomination from every major gaming site. But until I see a trailer or something, I'm just optimistic.

The very existence of games like Mario Super Sluggers and Punch-Out!! makes me hope that there might still be a Mario Golf or Mario Tennis (with Wii MotionPlus support?) game coming to Wii. But I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

I hope to god they don't implement a 1st person Zelda thing, not even as a feature/gimmick.
I'm over ruling any gameplay changes out, but I HIGHLY doubt that they would do this. Very highly.

King Hearts 3

KH3 has been thrown around for ages but there's still been nothing definitive about it. I think the DS and mobile games will be released soon (or have already been released) so hopefully an announcement about KH3 is next. Fingers crossed.

I'd sell my Wii if there isn't even the slightest hint that there's a Zelda Wii on the cards somewhere in the near future (ie released within the next year). The console does nothing for me and it's just gathering dust in my cupboard.

chibi still never got World of Goo?

I hope some indie WiiWare games get attention during the press conference--Night Game and Max and the Magic Marker both look delightful.

I haven't touched my Wii for months. The only reasons why I still haven't sold it yet are Zack & Wiki and Okami, which I need to finish and start respectively. I've looked at VC once and the layout of it annoys me. So yeah, didn't get World of Goo, won't be getting World of Goo.

I have no money blah blah blah... But the moment I do, I'll be sure to go out and get Punch-Out!!

A Mario platformer isn't completely out of the question. I know we haven't gotten more than one "proper" game on a console since NES, but there also hasn't been a Nintendo console this popular since the NES. Besides, Miyamoto said there was more he wanted to do with the idea.

I secretly want Reggie to admit that he wants to bring Disaster: Day of Crisis to NA.

And I want him to admit that the Wii's software line-up has been sucking hard.

And THEN I want him to burst out in tears and admit that being president of NoA has gone to his head.

Best E3 Ever.

You'd prefer Disaster over a new Zelda or Mario title?

Really, it doesn't look that exciting. Releasing a wagglefest after Wii MotionPlus is released doesn't make any sense either.

I'd prefer a new Mario and/or Zelda. But, the ultimate mistake that Reggie's made in recent history is his denial of Disaster.

Whether or not we'll get anything remotely that awesome is up to Nintendo. I know we'll definitely get Spirit Tracks. But to have two Zelda games at E3? That hasn't been done since E3 2004, when TP was first announced. TMC was also shown there at another time. So, the chances of that are a bit slimmer than you'd think.

But, I can almost SMELL another Mario for the DS...

D:DoC isn't that great man. Sure, the beginning is fun at first but then it's straight downhill from there.

Joe, I was saying "Whether or not we'll get anything remotely that awesome is up to Nintendo," in reference to Reggie admitting he was wrong. The equivalent to this would be a major game announcement, 'cause Reggie would never admit he's wrong. XD

I don't get it, though. He won't let *ONE* game to NA, but he'll let massive loads of shit come on the console just so he can mimic the success of the PS2 since that was the last "big" system with a "large library with games for everyone." Plenty of shitty games are on the Wii, as well as mediocre ones, good ones, and amazing ones. This happened with the PS2 as well...as well as with any system. For Reggie to not let a single game come through is just ridiculous.

While you have games like Madworld (a completely new title, too, just like Disaster would have been) and established franchises on the Wii like Resident Evil, his rational doesn't quite add up. Right now, we have two RE games on the Wii: Umbrella Chronicles (which is decidedly mediocre) and RE4 -- a port.

Good 'ol Reggie's just full of shit.

So why are we getting upset about it? It's one game, and it didn't even get great reviews. If it was receiving universal praise, then I'd be angry. Also, "hardcore" crap is in many ways worse than casual crap.

Besides, third-party goodness like Muramasa and A Boy and His Blob deserves much more attention than first-party mediocrity like Disaster. But if DDoC was to be announced, it would draw attention away from those good third-party titles. So in a way Reggie's right not to release it over here.

two RE games on the Wii: Umbrella Chronicles (which is decidedly mediocre)
See? You're not clearly not excited about Darkside Chronicles? Why would you be any more excited about Disaster?

I don't think you all understand me. I'm not "not excited" for Disaster. I would like the game here simply because it's a game that people still might like and that American audiences should decide for themselves if it's "bad" or not. What I'm trying to mainly point out is that Reggie is simply full of shit.

And hisak, I'm VERY excited for RE: Darkside Chronicles. It looks freaking amazing. Just because RE:UC is mediocre doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to it's "sequel," so to speak. Also, you can't compare an on-rails FPS survival-horror game to Disaster. -_-;

All right. But I still think that it would distract people from some of the better third-party games.

Well, we should be seeing it at E3! And I'm looking forward to it too.

I have a feeling this year's E3 showing for Nintendo will be huge. No idea why. The only logical conclusion is this because they haven't really been showing us much in recent months. So, they have to have something to show for their "absence", so to speak.

I don't know about "huge," but I definitely think it will be big. I think in order for it to be huge, they'd have to announce a new Zelda title and at least three or four new games from other franchises (besides Pikmin and Sin & Punishment). But when consider how few original games they've published or announced for this year (Excitebots, Punch-Out!!, Wii Sports Resort, and S&P2), it seems like they definitely have to have something coming later this year.
