There wasn't a single part of Galaxy I wasn't impressed with. If they can keep that going for 120 stars in the first game, and have Miyamoto say he wasn't completely satisfied with it, I have no doubts about the sequel, especially with Yoshi.

I wasn't impressed by the purple coin missions or the fact that the Honeyhive and Gold Leaf Galaxies were half the same.

First of all: No. Corruption was amazing. Echoes was really good. Prime was one of the best games I've ever played. But even so, Retro has nothing to do with this, and it's a completely new direction for the series.

Corruption was good, not amazing.  It was way too easy combat-wise and the computer would tell you exactly what you needed to do even if you turned off the hint function.  Oh, and the game gave you the locations of all the pickups.

i found the game quite hard mainly for the bosses on the easiest difficulty and i am an experienced gamer(i.e not a casual, i have played all sorts of games since the 64 days, although i am not the hardcorest either) but i really do agree about the hint system, its rediculous these days the hints that pollute games like Zelda or okami or metroid...when the purpose of the game is to explore and discover it for yourself...

Hey! A new IP from Nintendo! Why didn't we hear about this at the press conference? Oh right, we were too busy paying attention to Metroid and Galaxy 2 and Golden Sun and "nintendo SUCKS!!". And I'll admit that I kind of ignored it. But it looks really good. Hopefully they actually let fans know about it, because this is the first I'm hearing about it. Everyone, don't ignore Monado! Please!

I'm kinda looking forward to Assassins creed 2, although i wasn't a big fan of the first one i could see the potential there. i read some stuff about what the team wanted to do to it to improve it and it seems like the stuff i was after, so yeah, if its still meh then my bro will have bought it and so it won't matter if i play it or not...

I will be keeping my eye on that one, actually. I got a little excited about it since I first heard about it.

I don't see what the big fuss about Monando is. I have a feeling Nintendo want to talk about it because it looks FAR FROM FINISHED. It also looks quite generic and that it's dwarfing Final Fantasy XII's style a biiiiiiiiit.

I don't think we're making a big fuss. It looks promising, that's all. You're probably right about it being a ways off--there wasn't a release window listed for it.

Seems a bit more Phantasy Star-ish than Final Fantasy XII-ish.

I don't know, I still think it looks neat.

Nah..........................it looks like an FF rip off. Not very interested, unless there's something drastically different in the storyline...other wise, it looks pretty generic.

Well, as someone who doesn't play Final Fantasy, I don't mind that much. Golden Sun didn't look all that unique at first, but it's one of the best games on its system. Maybe this could be almost as good?

I thought the world looked really magical and interesting, and the music sounded good too, seeing as i have never really played any JRPG's i might give this a go just to support nintendo when it makes new ip's...

See. Right there. There's the problem. The fans all clamoring for something new in the realm of their interests and you're all ready to go and dismiss it. "oh no...it looks too generic and a clone of something else...blah blah blahdi blah."

And then they go and complain that nothing interesting is happening.

Can we agree that Scribblenauts looks awesome, then? Because it does, and I'm quite excited for it.

Right, because as far as this goes, nothing is. This is isn't new, and therefore doesn't intrest me.

Nothing too big. It's only IGN's Overall Game of the Show.

People need to pay more attention. This is new. Extremely new. Extremely interesting, as well.

Quote from: Internet Forumer
had played all the big titles at E3. Private showings of God of War III, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake. But at 4:00 on Thursday, I was wandering around the show floor, wondering what else I had to see. I saw a small little booth for "Scribblenauts!" in the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment section. I mean, who goes to that booth? But I remember hearing about it on GAF, and so I decided to check it out.

Best game of E3? Without a fucking doubt. Anyone who says otherwise did not play Scribblenauts. Best game of all time? Jesus Christ, I don't know, maybe. It's a game that challenges your IMAGINATION. No other game has ever done that.

So listen to this story. I was in the early levels; I didn't quite have an idea of how ridiculously in-depth the database was. I was summoning things like ladders, glasses of water, rayguns, what have you. But I reached a level with zombie robots, and the zombie robots kept killing me. Rayguns didn't work, a torch didn't work, a pickaxe didn't work. In my frustration, I wrote in "Time Machine". And one popped up. What the fuck? A smile dawned on my face. I hopped in, and the option was given to me to either travel to the past or the future. I chose past. When I hopped out, there were fucking dinosaurs walking around. I clicked one, and realized I could RIDE THEM. So I hopped on a fucking DINOSAUR, traveled back to the present, and stomped the shit out of robot zombies. Did you just read that sentence? Did you really? I FUCKING TRAVELED THROUGH TIME AND JUMPED ON A DINOSAUR AND USED IT TO KILL MOTHERFUCKING ROBOT ZOMBIES. This game is unbelievable. Impossible. There's nothing you can't do.

Holy fucking shit.
I hear it's pretty good.

I don't know. It looks pretty new to me. I can see the influences but I don't see why it would be an instant turn off.

Guess you can't please everyone.

That's not what it's about. At least, if what I think your interpretation of it is actually your interpretation. It still looks amazing and will probably be an instant buy. Hopefully people can take a break from bashing the Wii and DS long enough to pick up a copy.
