Of course I saw a really good thing pertaining to the Cash for Clunkers. Why incentivize spending money now on cars after we spent all that money bailing out the companies in the first place?

Haha, you're kidding right?
If you give money to a car company to keep it afloat, and then no-one buys their cars due to not being able to afford them?
That equals a lot of wasted money.

Cash for Clunkers have been made possible.

Oh yeah that program where you I get to pay for people to buy cars.

So that the company can continue to survive. We saved them from sinking, but unless people buy their cars then all that money was for nothing (Well, keeping workers jobs around for a short period of time, I suppose). A simple incentive has made a big difference.

The Cash for Clunkers program also doubles as an incentive for people to get their gas guzzling cars off the road and get them into more efficient models. So in a way, the Cash for Clunkers plan is helping us reduce our use of oil and our environmental impact. Not by much, but it's better than nothing.

Yes in that sense it's been a resounding success.

Man people like Ford now, and really liked Ford in the 90s, and were still driving their 90's Ford cars in 2009.  Goooo American multinational automakers!

Hey you little runts down in the Trendy Game Shop, posting constantly without really saying anything:  I played your game once.   I know what that's like.  I was once your leader.  You know the reason posts don't count in the Trendy Game?  You're looking at him.  Respect your elders.
