Fishing in the GC Twilight Princess

well ok, the instructions make it sound very easy, but as i tried it for myself i have yet to cathc the first fish for sera's cat. the wii was so much easier. instructions say use the c stick pushdown when the red bar on top goes under water, i have done this and all it does is jerk the hook out of the fish, so the wii was easier on fishing but does anyone know the true way to hook a fish in the gc version? i have tried the way the instruction say and it hasnt worked. so let me know.

You must be doing something wrong, because I did exactly that and haven't had a single problem catching anything.

i was assuming that, yuo do pull down on the c stick right when the top red bar goes under water right? maybe they just ket go o something, but i was assuming i was doing something wrong, i just didnt have this problemwith the wii version but thats ok, i think i have figured it out.
