Sakurai (Smash Bros)-led company that developed Kid Icarus Uprising. Iwata claimed they'd be developing Smash Bros. 4 at 2009, but it seems like its team is mostly just Namco now, plus Sakurai.

A Timeline
So Sakurai left Nintendo in 2005 after conflicts involving Kirby Air Ride. He formed his own private company, Sora, which basically allows him to act as a freelancer. (Sora isn't a video game studio--it only has two or three employees.)
For Brawl's development, Nintendo assembled a team from many, many studios and Sakurai returned as director.
Project Sora, a video game studio owned by both Sora and Nintendo and led by Sakurai, was created in January 2009.
At E3 2010, it was announced that Project Sora was created to make one particular game: Kid Icarus Uprising.
At E3 2011, Iwata announced that Project Sora would be developing new Smash Bros. games for 3DS and Wii U after Kid Icarus's development was complete.
Last month, we learned that Namco Bandai would be providing the bulk of the dev staff for Smash Bros. 4. It was assumed that Project Sora would also be working on the game, but we just learned that the studio was dissolved on June 30.
So Sora still exists; Project Sora doesn't. Kind of a bummer because I wanted to see them make more games, but Sakurai will still be doing stuff so it's not the end of the world.
